This place was the perfect retreat for an overnight stay! Everything was so clean & cozy feeling. The silly signs made us laugh a lot and the continental breakfast was the perfect variety of things. It’s right across from a Walmart and next to fast food which was perfect for our quick trip to the area. We will definitely be back!

The hotel is independent and locally run. My room was spotless and comfortable. The front desk workers were polite and efficient. The free breakfast was more than adequate. Of the hotels in Indianola in which I have stayed this was by far the best option.

I really very much enjoyed my stay and everything was super clean (more than the big chain hotels I normally stay in). The staff were nice and helpful, and the breakfast was plentiful! Beds were comfortable and I felt very safe. I appreciated that the outer door locked at 9pm. I think because of the McD's next door, maybe a kind of privacy barrier could help some of the noise that carries to the rooms facing that side. Otherwise it was great and overall I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to a super tidy room :)

Family Road Trip
There is no elevator for 2nd floor rooms (if there was we were not told about it) Now it’s not many stairs but my husband has bad knees and we have been on a long road trip and our suitcase was heavy to carry around. The breakfast was mediocre. The pancake machine was good and they also offered biscuit and gravy. Our growing teenagers like eggs and meat that they have experienced at other hotels. We did like the three bed option so everyone got a bed vs. someone on a couch. They have corn hole and ping pong that you just have to ask the front desk for the bags/paddles.

We appreciated the local ownership, the links to area restaurants and activities, the ping-pong table and small disc golf course, and the spacious room. We were disappointed that the fridge didn't have a freezer, but then all of our food froze.

Very clean comfortable motel breakfast was good prices in vending machines was actually very fair. Only minor complaint is check in staff could have been a little more friendly. The 2 housekeepers were very helpful and friendly.

We loved the triple beds! This is perfect for a large family or when siblings/family members don’t want to share a bed. It made our stay amazing!!! I also absolutely loved the option of hot chocolate during breakfast! I’m not a coffee drinker but I love hot chocolate so this made my stay perfect!

Safe and clean Iowa stay!
Overall an excellent stay! I liked that the main door locked at 9pm, made it feel so safe! I also like the passcode for the room, more security! I’d just recommend more pillows for the bed! I’d definitely stay here again!!
