An older facility, but clean. Convenient next to a major interstate exit and on major thoroughfare into Des Moines. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Front desk staff talked super quiet, could barely hear what they were saying. Lots of odd folks walking around, not sure if they were staying at the hotel or not. Housekeeping left a dirty rag in the room.

Our room was not cleaned, puke all over the bed and floor! We got upgraded to a suite, the bathroom door wouldn’t slide closed. It just felt nasty. Broken windows in pool area. I slept with one eye open😳

This property looks nothing like the pictures provided. It was dirty, broken down and just disgusting. The pool was dangerous as the handle was coming out of the cement. The water looked “chunky”, no way I would get in there. Our room I couldn’t take my shoes off because the carpet was so gross. The bathroom was a complete disaster. The shower curtain had holes in it and was visibly overused. The shower wouldn’t turn on all the way, the floor of the shower felt unstable. The toilet seat wasn’t screwed in all the way and was very loose, and my husband had to fix the toilet because it wouldn’t stop running. The mirror was broken, the hook on the back of the door was broken and the hair dryer looked like it was going to fall off of the wall. The lamps next to the bed were all sorts of messed up and they had car air fresheners hanging from the bulbs. We also had a huge nasty spider that looked terrifying. Outside our window was an old pool that had been filled in and left to just grow weeds, there was a broken down camper out there as well. No landscaping at all. There is no way I would stay at this location again and I definitely shouldn’t have paid the $150/ night.

Horrible stay!
My room reeked of cigarette smoke that was covered by air freshener. It was horrible! The bed had been broken and repaired by putting a slat of wood down the middle of the bed so you couldnt sleep on the middle but you literally rolled down one side or the other. I didnt request a room change because at my request they put me in a room next to my friends and i didnt want to make everyone to change rooms. If they told me that room had problems and put my somewhere else it would have been better. All and all, wont be back.

Definitely glad we only just needed a place to sleep. We were gone all day and checked in late that night. The halls smell of mold and you can hear every one running around we were on the second floo. Our sheets looked like someone burned a cigarette butt in them. We went down for breakfast and there was no seating available and you are not permitted to take anything to your rooms. We usually use the pool in the morning. Well they opened the pool at 8 we noticed it was dirty. You could see bandaids and debris in the bottom well we got in and noticed chunks of food like someone had puked! Disgusting. We literally got out and hit the shower. Left. Big no no.

The staff was great but the bathroom counter was dirty, my towel was stained and had holes in it. The tub did not drain very well. While showering the water was up over my ankles and took a long time to empty. Also, at least 2 of the outside door locks did not work. Certainly not worth $400 for 2 nights.

I was disappointed that there was no coffee maker in the room. My normal morning routine is to drink coffee while I read and study while I am still in my pajamas. I had to get dressed in order to get coffee in the breakfast area. Also I was disappointed and surprised there was no comfortablle chair and foot rest in the room. That feature has always been available in hotel rooms. I did sit in what I would label a desk chair and did posiiton myself in the bed for my reading time, but neither was very comfortable.

Bath tub and sink held water while in use and took a long time to drain. The air conditioner was so loud we couldn’t run it. There were kids and adults right outside our our first floor room window and were extremely loud and were also playing their vehicles radio VERY LOUD UP UNTIL 11:45 pm. This kept us from being able to try and go to bed until after midnight. When I mentioned this to the lady at the front desk, it was she didn’t care. Very Upset.
