Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
We booked this hotel because it was a decent price for our vacation to destin. It looked decent in the photos as well. We get to the hotel to check in, the staff is nice. We get to our room and as soon as we walk in, it smells like mildew/mold, and the tables have not been cleaned. Also a white powder on the remote😐. I ignored it because I knew I wouldn’t be spending much time in the hotel as we’re on vacation. We leave and hang out on the beach, we come back later that night and I go to take a shower, the shower smells like dookie or sewage. And the water was cold. There was no hot water, I was upset about that and was contemplating staying, and then the universe gave me my sign when I saw a roach climbing on the wall. I asked the staff if i could get a refund, he said I couldnt for that night, but could refund the rest of my stay, he was very nice about it, but didn’t seem shocked. He put us in a different room which wasn’t much better but I didn’t see another roach I guess, the toilet was falling off the wall tho. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you care about a clean decent room.
