Matagalpa Department accommodation from NZ$76

The ad says washer and dryer but when you get there they tell you it's not for guests but you can use it. I used it for one wash and it took all the water in the tank so for the rest of the day we had no water. They came to fix it and it took until 10pm the following day. The owner of the property Sebastian then claimed we were not supposed to use the washer and it was our fault the water ran out. My shirt and underwear were ruined because of sludge pumped into the washer. The owner Sebastian would not compensate for this claiming we were not supposed to use the washer. Why advertise it then? If you are told it has hot water don't believe it, it only lasts 30 seconds. The place is very run down and not clean. Pancake like pillows and sheets worn thin and no blankets. I would like to have this property removed from Vrbo but they were not much help either, siding with the owner. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE, YOY HAVE BEEN WARNED. RENT AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION. This is actually the second time that I stay in this hotel. It has been one of the best states that I have experience. The rooms are very clean. The staff are extremely friendly and you cannot beat the scenery. It is beautiful. I would definitely recommend for anyone.

An old Spanish colonial building that is open, airy, unusual and charming. Evening dining on the outskirts of the small town. The town is a refreshing break from the larger towns. Breakfast is not prepared on property.
