Metro airport was right there!! Room was clean and area felt very safe. Wendy's next door and a short walk to Checkers and McDonalds. Light breakfast available. Everything we needed for a day after Henry Ford Museum/Greenfield Village.

The person at the front desk was good. The Facilities were just worn out. The bathroom shower leaked water all over the entire bathroom floor while is showered... making for a slipping hazard.

I wasn’t expecting a lot from this property as it is a very economical and convenient airport hotel. I at least expecting basic niceties such as a clean room, clean linens, and a friendly staff. None of that was the case though. All of the towels were disgustingly dirty, there were people screaming in the hallways at all hours of the night, the AC didn’t work and the window wouldn’t open (it was terribly hot and muggy; I overheard other guests complain of the same thing), but the worst of it was the racist front desk woman. When picking up in the shuttle, she made a very derogatory comment about an international guest who she was picking up after me. She continued to ignore the man during the shuttle while instead talking about her political views in a very rude manner. As she finished the drive, she passive aggressively told us that she can’t eat if we don’t tip her. Here my tip for her: you work in customer service. People have a right to provide gratuity based on service. Treating people who don’t look like you as sub-humans will never be tolerated. Remember, freedom of speech does not give you freedom from consequence.

It wasn't good
There was an extension cord that ran across the room to plug in the TV. I assume the outlet behind the TV wasn't working and that's why it was there. There was an empty space where the refrigerator should have been most likely again because the outlet wasn't safe to use. The smoke detector was taken off the ceiling and placed in a drawer. There was a stain on the couch and when I turned a lamp on it kept flickering like it didn't have a good connection to the outlet and could catch fire. Not a good room at all.

It was fine for a quick stay overnight before an early flight. Did not sleep under sheets. The parking lot is in rough shape. Lobby very small and unkept. One lift. Would not leave luggage in car due to the dim lights outside.
