Holiday Inn Express. Always good.
Clean newer location. Room was comfortable. A little error was made. I had been in the room for a day and was working at the desk when another renter let herself into the room. She told me that the front desk had assigned her the room and given her a key to it. She apologized and left. I appears to have been resolved. Ooops

Upon arriving, we went to check in and were told our room wasn't ready yet. We arrived 1.5 hours after check-in started. I asked if we could expedite the check-in as we had a time crunch for where we needed to be (the whole reason for booking the room) and was rudely told "well we are short staffed so you just have to wait". No apology, unprofessional, and rude about it. We did get checked in about 15 min later and the room was dirty. My husband wiped up a small section of the floor that was visibly dirty with a washcloth and it came up black. We didn't even feel comfortable enough to shower there. I'd steer clear and choose another hotel in the area if I were you. The cinnamon rolls in the morning are still good though. Its about the only redeeming quaility, but those are at all of the Holiday Inn Express Hotels.

We were in an overnight stay while attending Sunday Night Football Game. The only negative is that the room had like an onion like odor to it, when first entering it.

I really hate writing reviews but i was very disturbed at waking up and looking at the night stand and finding baby ants (lots),on a empty pie container. I cleaned up the area and still noticed ants before i exited room. I even noticed an ant on pillow. You should spray outside. Another thing is there was no bathroom soap in Dove container in bath or shower. We took a bath with the Dove Shampo.

I'd stay again!
This is a fairly new location. Rooms were clean. Staff were very nice. Overall quiet and safe area. We even took a long walk from the hotel and felt very safe. Need more restaurants in the area. The continental breakfast was okay. Hot foods beed to ve hotter but overall it was sufficient fir a complimentary meal.

Pros: -Staff were wonderful and the hotel was clean -Continental breakfast was good Cons: -The air conditioning in our room made a clicking noise every time in turned on. It was also not very cold despite how low we turned down the temperature. -Our toilet kept running and wouldn’t flush so my husband kept having to lift the lid to fix that. -The indoor pool was not heated and freezing -The shower in the pool area did not have hot water -The metal door stopper flipped over when we left our room and we weren’t able to get back in. Took a while to find staff to fix this.

Our room #107 was dirty, towels smelled bad, fridge was leaking water, and all night we could hear loud noises from level above. We have stayed at other Holiday inn express IHG in the past (ie. Dearborn, Chicago), however this location did not meet our expectations. I will request Hotel Manager to help compensate
