The restaurant food was very basic and of poor quality and expensive. The room heating was set at 33 degrees Celsius. We managed to set it to cool things but it kept automatically returning to the high temperature. No windows in hotel room, very claustrophobic. The main hotel atrium was enormous and clinical. Not an inviting space to stop and have a drink.

Food let’s the hotel down.
Firstly credit to the staff who all do an incredible job. Very friendly, very helpful and very welcoming. The hotel is a little dated but I feel this is reflected in the price. The leisure facilities are great too. Both the gym and the spa (free to use) are up to date and modern. Unfortunately the bit that lets this hotel down is the food and it’s a huge shame. It’s almost a reason I’d not come back to the hotel. The quality just isn’t there and the options are poor. I had a steak which was covered in garlic flavoured margarine!!! Not butter! I also had garlic sautéed broccoli which was broccoli with another load of garlic margarine. Tastes awful. There’s a lack of interesting healthy options for frequent business users and unfortunately due to its location isn’t close to many other food outlets.

Receptionist brilliant ! We got lost sat nav took us down a dirt track , very helpful! Food awful, fish had been cooked twice tough, ribs hadn’t been cooked properly so mainly fat. Rooms spotless and very reasonably pruced

Excellent value for the facilities offered. Rooms clean, and comfortable if perhaps a fraction tired. Gym and restaurant both excellent. Gym streets ahead of most hotel gyms. Just don’t buy breakfast. Hugely underwhelming for the price.
