OVERVIEW: Welcome to Mariners Surfside! Oceanside, a popular vacation rental, and a charming beach cottage. Steps from the beach and on the 2nd floor, this 2BR, 1BA apartment is a fantastic choice for vacation! A screened porch offers a perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or hang out when you return from the day's activities. Inside, you will find an open-concept living area, a dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, an air conditioning unit, two flat-screen TVs, and free Wi-Fi. A Queen bed in one bedroom, a full plus a twin in the other, and a queen sleep sofa in the living room provide sleeping for 6.
LOCATION: This vacation home is located at the south end of Dewey Beach, nestled in the heart of Dewey Beach between Dagsworthy and Read Ave. Park your cars (2) and walk all week, as this vacation home is located in the heart of Dewey Beach. Many local shops and restaurants are close by, or you can take the trolley to the famous Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk, which is about a mile away.
PARKING: Two assigned parking spots.
AMENITIES: Wi-Fi, screened-in porch, and AC.
THINGS TO KNOW: Streaming services are available only; there is no cable. Linens are not supplied. However, we do offer a linens rental package to guests. The condo is on the second level with no elevator. This is a Saturday-to-Saturday rental. No pets and no smoking! Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. This was our 5th summer in Dewey and 4th at this residence (made a huge mistake last year). We love the proximity to the beach, restaurants, and entertainment! Will do again next year!

Great location for beach and restaurants!
Cute condo close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants! We hardly used the car. Our recommendations and opinions…working shades on the porch would have been fabulous in the afternoon when the sun is beating in and the mattress in the master needs replacing. Also, the instructions to lock and unlock the door were incorrect and they need to be clearer. Also, the WiFi password was inconsistent from email to welcome binder to what was on the fridge. Would definitely rent here again if the mattress gets replaced.

For the price this is a great property. Not the most updated or highest quality but for the price, you can't beat the location. Has window A/C which is not the best, but otherwise no complaints. Have returned multiple times. similar listings were easily twice the price. this is close to the beach

Quick beach vacation
We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was nice and very simple. Could have used some more kitchen items, we brought our own cookware, but still had enough to cook dinners and breakfast. The best part is the quick walk to the beach and hearing the waves crashing. Definitely would book again.

Very happy with this property
My friends and I have come to Dewey for the past few summers and stay at different places each time, and I’ve overall enjoyed this property the most. Really convenient check-in process, electronic lock so no need to worry about keys, Property manager really nice and responsive, end of the road makes is much closer to the beach, neighbors on other condos are really nice, plenty of beds so you don’t have to share with 4-5 people. You have 2 reserved parking spots in an actual parking lot, which is way easier to get in and out compared to most properties. Downsides are you have to go up some stairs to get to the condo, so bringing anything heavy to the beach like a cooler requires a little extra work; there’s no washer dryer in the unit so make sure you have clothes, towels, swimwear unless you have some other arrangement to wash clothes; only one shower with no outdoor shower (as far as we could find). If none of those are dealbreakers, would really recommend this property. P.S. for COVID, Dewey obviously isn’t quite the same during the pandemic, but we were still able to have fun and stay safe. The beaches are pretty naturally social distanced, and the bars require a mask and that you sit at tables with your party. Plenty of live music at the bars during the summer despite this.

This rental was cancelled, did not receive a refund.
I cancelled this rental prior to the deadline to get my deposit back, but the agency refused to refund my money, said only if the property was rented by another party would I receive a refund. Half of the deposit was for any property damage that occurred during our stay, but we didn't get a refund on that, either. The agency also sent me a contract to sign that they said was a prerequisite to them relisting the property as available for that week, but a condition of the contract was that I had to pay the rest of the rental fees in full. Ridiculous. I will not be using this agency again, and I don't recommend them to anyone.

Just what the doctor ordered!
We needed to get away from all the "stuff" going on, and this was the perfect place to "forget it all". The condo was very nice for the two of us. It had homey touches such as needle point done by the owner. The location was unbeatable! There were restaurants abound for all tastes and ages! Highly recommend for a vacation!

Location fabulous, convenient to beach
Only one other condo between you and the entrance to Dewey beach. Mama Maria's restaurant just down the street, just roll out of bed to the shops and all that this town offers. Easily sleeps a family of 5. We were looking for a separate bed room for our teen boys. With 2 separate bedrooms, full kitchen, teen boys could sleep in and cook for themselves. The enclosed porch is a nice feature if you have guests visiting (loved having my coffee out there & convenient for towels and suits to dry). The pull out queen couch also offers additional sleeping if needed. The only thing you need to bring are your own sheets. If you plan on doing high end cooking, bring your own grill or your pans as somewhat limited. Toaster oven did not work. For basic cooking, this is your home away from home. I would definitely rent again.
