Charming and secluded cabin nestled in the North Georgia Mountains at the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. Follow a short country road and return to nature to enjoy a quiet, peaceful getaway at The BearPaw Cabin. This cabin is for complete relaxation and enjoy the solitude of your surroundings. Play some board games, talk, eat, watch one of the selections of movies provided or stream your own device with the newly installed WiFi service. Take a walk on BearPaw Trail located right on the property. Sit on the front porch swing while drinking your morning coffee or your evening beverage. New Bryant Ductless heating/AC unit installed first of 2023. Cabin is centrally located for Whitewater Rafting on the Chattahoochee River, the Chattooga River, the Nantahala River and the Ocoee River. Dozens of hiking trails from beginner to advanced are within miles of the Cabin. We are 2 hours from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Amazing cabin and location!
BearPaw Cabin is such a wonderful, cozy, and comfortable space. The perfect place for a stay in the mountains. Just a few minutes from Dillard, yet secluded with great views and inviting grounds. Extremely clean and thoughtfully decorated. Our hosts were quick to respond to questions, friendly, and accommodating. Thank you to the Conners for helping us with the gift of wonderful memories both past and present! We will definitely be back!

Very nice cabin
We very much enjoyed our stay at the BearPaw cabin. Cabin is located just a short distance off US 441 and convenient to Dillard and Clayton. Everything met our expectations with a comfortable bed, relaxing den and a screened porch that we enjoyed. We will return.

Best Stuff: The place was the cleanest I have ever stayed at. This place was isolated and quiet. Screened porch was the peaceful place I was hoping for. Small problems: Bed was really hard. If you don't have the code before you turn off the highway, there is no service from the highway to the cabin and you can't access the code without driving back down to the highway. I will definitly be back.

Wonderful! Wish we could have stayed longer. Often when I use VRBO, I am slightly disappointed about something in the rental - weird layout, bad bed, poor lighting, too-close neighbors. There was none of this at Bearpaw Cabin! It's exactly as described in the listing. The host was responsive, the place was well stocked. The location was fabulous. The trails were great. I can't say enough good things about our stay. We will be back.

Great secluded cabin!
The cabin was secluded, yet 5 minutes from a great restaurant (Cupboard Cafe) and 15 minutes to Clayton and Franklin. We did the trail on the property the first day and it was a fun and challenging hike. A few days later we hiked it again and a giant storm had knocked down trees (one with a giant hornet nest-yikes). Steve was there the next day to take care of it. Very well taken care of property! Being a Florida flat-lander I was happy the drive to the cabin was a pretty easy one. We enjoyed the nearby Aerial park, julep farms, and the vineyards at Holly Hock. Our kids favorite hike was granite city near Highlands (check it out if you like to climb but don’t want to fuss with gear). But the one who liked the cabin the most was our dog because she could hike off leash. A great time was had by all!

If you love nature sounds, quiet solitude & freedom from stress, this is your ideal retreat! Stacey & Steve were so kind & accomodating to our requests. The cabin is comfy & rustic, with a very homey feel. We loved knowing a little history about it, as we admired the craftmanshhip of the grandfather who built it. Quiet Mountain Oasis
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bear Paw Cabin and only regret that we were not able to spend more time relaxing at the house. The property is surrounded by woods, no neighbors in sight, and very quiet! There is a long gravel drive to the property, nothing you need 4WD or AWD for though. The house was spotless and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked and there were extra blankets and pillows in the bedrooms. Everything worked well. If you're used to lightening fast internet, the speeds here might be a bit slow, but the tv was still able to stream with minimal freezing while 3 people were on other devices. The owners were friendly and quick to respond to any questions. The cabin is actually bigger than the photos make it seem; all rooms are quite spacious and more than enough room for a family. Highly recommend! If we ever return to the area, we'd definitely book here again.

Cute cabin- loved our few days there. Very convenient to many areas. Beautiful mountain setting. So many amenities provided with rental. Recommend it! ( just one bathroom might keep families from renting)— but maybe not. We’re going to rent again.

I Love this cabin. It is hard for me to find the privacy I like, but this place is great. No neighbors, no noise. The weather was great and the leaves perfect. I enjoyed the fire pit while my wife enjoyed the fireplace. She did not like the gravel drive but we made it in a small car, no problem. I give 5 stars.

The property was very clean and the pictures were spot on. The information provided was perfect to let you know exactly what to do for check in and check out. It is 100% private and had its own private mile long trail. We did have an issue with the toilet (which things happen as it worked find the night before) and we went out on a hike and when we came back it was fixed. The kitchen had all the needing cooking utensils and gear. Plenty of firewood and kindling to get a nice fire started. Everything we needed was right there and the grocery store was near the house. One trip and your all set for your weekend. We will be coming back.
