Kingfisher Nook is a cosy self contained annex with far reaching views over the beautiful Waveney valley on the Norfolk / Suffolk border. We have private river access for fishing or bring your own kayak to explore the local river wildlife directly from our garden. With our excellent local village pub the "Hoxne Swan" within 15 min scenic stoll, you can enjoy an evening meal without the need to drive.
We strive to provide the ultimate home from home luxury experience surrounded by beautiful scenery and nature. Our Nook is fully self contained with its own entrance providing our guests with complete privacy and independence, with exclusive use of their own fully equipped kitchen for self catering, living room and shower room. There is a front and back patio available for your private use allowing you to enjoy eating outside in sun / shade throughout the day. Our patio swing seat provides the ultimate spot to relax and unwind.
New this season we now have a Helsinki Hot tub available for private hire between April and October, this can be set up on the back patio and provides the perfect way to relax and enjoy the sunset over the valley and the starry night sky. Please specify if you would like Hot tub hire at time of booking and I will provide additional cost for your stay.
We have beautiful cycling and walks from the doorstep with direct access to the Angles Way. Return from a colourful Autumn / winter walk and warm your toes with our cosy underfloor heating and log burner. Perfect for a cosy winter get away.
The bedroom has a comfortable king size bed which can be split into two smaller size single beds if desired.
Kingfisher Nook is offered on a fully self catered basis, however we are fortunate to have some excellent local pubs, restaurants and cafes within close proximity.
Should you be able to tear yourself away from the peaceful surroundings we have a wide range of local attractions to explore, including stunning beaches, historic Framlingham Castle, gorgeous country houses and Gardens such as Helmingham Hall, Bressingham stream Museum, Sutton Hoo, Snape Maltings, or a day trip on the beautiful Norfolk Broads.
We live next door with our children and our friendly cat Pip, so we are usually available for personal recommendations.
