Good Value Option for Basic Accommodation
Basic, reasonably good value accommodation which suited me fine - certainly much cheaper than most places in nearly Dortmund city centre - but just a short train ride away. No frills, but clean and comfortable enough in a convenient location. Breakfast options good. I was able to get into the accommodation even though arriving late in the evening, via the code for the key box which I got from phoning the hotel ahead of arrival. It would be preferable if the booking details (and website) mentioned this so that guests know, but it worked out fine for me.

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Für eine Nacht völlig ausreichend. Sauberkeit ist völlig o.k. Frühstück ist ein wenig zu einfallslos für den Preis von 12,50 Euro. Parkplätze vor der Tür kostenfrei. S-Bahn in der Nähe.

Sehr freundliches Personal und interessantes Design. Unser Raum war trotz Heizung ein wenig kalt und die Ausstattung der Gemeinschaftsküche reicht nicht aus um sich darin ernsthaft etwas zu kochen. Dafür gibt es reichlich möglichkeiten etwas zu essen in der Umgebung. Insgesamt würde ich sagen dass das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen und auch den Preis wert ist

Es gibt keine Rezeption, wenn man anreist. Man muss dann telefonieren. Alles sehr umständlich. Beim Fernseher bekam man nur zwei Programme rein. An der Tür hing ein Zettel mit einem QR Code für Informationen, der aber nicht funktioniert hat.

Zugegebenermaßen recht einfach, aber interessant gestaltet und vor allem sauber! Das Personal gibt sich sehr viel Mühe um die Gäste bestmöglich zu beherbergen. Ruhige Gegend, günstiger Kaffee- und Getränkeautomat rund um die Uhr verfügbar. In 350m Discounter und S-Bahn-Station zu erreichen. Warmes Wasser in Dusche Top, man kann sich hier zu einem günstigen Preis wirklich wohl fühlen. Würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen!

Wir waren für einen kurzen Trip in Dotmund und hatten das Hotel Georg in Witten nur zum Schlafen gebucht. Bei unserer späten Ankunft (21 Uhr) war kein Personal im Haus, jedoch konnte man anrufen und wurde zu einem Schlüsselfach gelotst (direkt am Hotel). Der Mitarbeiter am Telefon war sehr freundlich. Unser Zimmer war sauber, zweckmäßig und gut ausgestattet. Das Bad war gross und es gab genug Handtücher und auch einen Fön. Es gibt auch einen Raum mit Getränkeautomat neben der Rezeption. Da wir wirklich nur zum Schlafen dort waren, haben wir keine riesigen Eindrücke sammeln können. Auch Mitarbeiter haben wir nicht gesehen, den Schlüssel kann man beim Check-Out in einen Briefkasten an der Rezeption werfen. Fazit: Für unsere Zwecke war das Hotel perfekt! Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist super!! Wenn Kritik, dann nur, dass die Kissen zu klein sind! Aber für Kurztrips, bei denen man nur eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit braucht (Frühstück gäbe es auch) ist es ideal.

Ohne Worte...
Obgleich sowohl unsere Anreise als auch Abreise zu geschäftsüblichen Zeiten stattfand war die Rezeption nicht besetzt und das Hotel verschlossen. Man ist also zwingend darauf angewiesen, ein Mobiltelefon mitzuführen, damit man das Hotel telefonisch erreichen und einchecken kann. Das uns ein Zimmer ohne eine funktionierende Toilette vermietet wurde (stellten wir nachts fest...) ist dann der Punkt, wo es kippt.......es stellt sich hier die Frage, warum so etwas bei der Zimmervorbereitung nicht auffällt und behoben wird... Tja, und am Wochenende einen Parkplatz in halbwegs erreichbarer Nähe zu finden gleicht auch eher einem Glücksspiel.
