I stayed there twice within a week, staying in three different rooms. The best thing about the hotel is the rooms: they are clean, relatively modern and a fair size. The rooms facing the pool are quiet.
The shuttle to and from the airport is free.
The were several things that weren’t so good: On my second stay I arrived at 7.30pm to be told that the hotel is full. It eventually transpired that they were still cleaning some rooms, presumably due to some customers being allowed extremely late checkouts despite those rooms being sold for the following night. I eventually got a room after standing at reception for 1 hour and 20 minutes. I suggested that some compensation might be in order but they only offered a free drink ($3!). It was later increased when I complained to the manager.
The aircon in one room didn’t work well.
On the first stay , the airport pick up didn’t show up despite reconfirming it the day before, so I had to take a local taxi to the hotel at night time.
There’s quite a lot of traffic noise from the street side of the hotel.
One morning there was only a trickle of running water for several hours, but that might not be the hotel’s fault.
Some rooms safely deposit boxes are key operated. They only provide the key if you sign that you will re-imburse them US$750 if you lose the key which is outrageous and more than my valuables are worth!
