Loved it! Secluded, clean, close to town
Highly recommend this charming cabin for a secluded couples getaway. It’s 10 minutes from wineries/breweries and 20 min from Wimberley. The host lives a minute or two from the cabin but it is very private. There are yummy muffins, a Keurig coffee maker, and a well appointed kitchen. We used the stove and microwave. We couldn’t figure out how to drain the bathroom sink stopper (push down on the drain cover and it pops up) and Tricia brought her plumber in asap, but other than that, no issues. WiFi is excellent, we didn’t need to bring any cookware. There are basic shower toiletries, towels and robes (the shower is small but has nice pressure and gets hot immediately). The bed is upstairs in the loft and it was stuffy in the 90 F afternoon heat but there is a fan and it did cool down nicely overnight. There are no curtains on the windows so bring an eye mask if you are sensitive to light. The bed itself is super luxe. The rest of the cabin was kept very comfortably cool. Hot tub was great and there is a nice hammock but it was a little too sunny/hot to hang out in for too long at this time of year. Overall, this place was exactly what we were looking for and we would absolutely return.

Charming and cozy step into the past
It was a wonderful stay. Complete privacy, no contact check-in or out. The owner’s dogs visited us every morning, whining at the front door to be let inside. Such playful and gentle companionship on our honeymoon staying there. The host provided us with robes, homemade muffins, and lots of firewood. We were both very impressed and our mouths were open when we stepped foot inside. It had such a peaceful atmosphere and a calming sensation with all of the places to relax: hot tub, large stone shower, four poster bed, a twin bed, and lots of chairs. We were sad to leave. But we will come back again soon. A beautiful place to stay. Well worth the money, to be led back into the past with history and antique decorations. Lovely!

Anniversary getaway
The cabin is super quaint. The bathroom is great. I say that as there were no pictures & it worried my wife. The cabin is secluded but close to Wimberly & Kelly's Hill country BBQ, Mercer Dance Hall & a ton of wineries. Great getaway.

A secluded slice of heaven
This place is just phenomenal! The pictures can’t describe it. My husband and are are married for almost 10 years and wanted to spend some time to reconnect without having to worry about the kids or anything else. This was the perfect place! Loved the path to get there, the surroundings, Hank and Summer (the dogs) welcoming us, the hot tub watching the stars, the cakes, the privacy and obviously the cabin! We were fortunate to have the opportunity to talk to the owner and get to know the history behind the cabin and it’s amazing! If you have the opportunity, ask her! Who else love cats? We went for walk to the pond and we’re followed by the dogs and Allie, the most adorable and friendly cat I’ve ever seen! Thank you, Tricia, for sharing your slice oh heaven with us!

Weekend Getaway
Very nice little cabin in the woods! Very clean and comfortable BUT we had to battle wasps inside the cabin both days we were there. Apparently according to the owner they come through the fireplace in the summer heat. We spoke with owner and she told us to just keep killing them. So my husband killed 4 the first day. We woke up on second day and killed about 8-10 more. Woke up 3rd day and one was buzzing above our bed. I hope they figure out a solution for the next guests.

A little piece of heaven
We loved this property. Spent a weekend celebrating our birthdays. Such peace and quiet. Plenty to do and see in the area but staying at this magical cabin the entire time is incredibly tempting once you are under its spell. The owner is very responsible and easy to work with. The owner’s dogs are so friendly and a real bonus. We will definitely be back!!

Hidden Gem
This property is a hidden gem in the Texas hill country. My wife and I were in the area to attend a wedding in Dripping Springs. The cabin was comfortable, quiet, and best of all, had a hot tub. The owner was extremely responsive and her dogs also wandered over to keep us company/safe at night. She was also kind enough to provide a fantastic local coffee cake for breakfast. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return.

Wow, what an awesome place and experience!
What an awesome place! We were awed driving up to the cabin. It was beyond our expectations. It is so quaint and comfortable! The dogs greeting us were the icing on the cake! So friendly and sweet. Trish was awesome to work with. The location was perfect for us. Our goal was a quiet getaway where we could relax and get to local wineries, etc. This place is perfectly located to experience Fredericksburg, Dripping Springs, Wimberly, and Driftwood. Loved everything about our experience, I highly recommend! (Also, the coffee cake was delish!)

Serenity!
My husband and I were looking for something quiet and anything but city to escape to for a friends wedding. We found the perfect spot. The cabin was well appointed and exactly as described. We slept amazing well in the cozy bed, enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch with the deer, evening glasses of wine in the jacuzzi and more than one nap in the hammock. This was by far one of our best VBRO stays yet!

Friends Wedding !!
My wife had been helping our friends with there up and coming wedding in Buda. So consequently, we needed somewhere in which we could call home base, near enough where we could be running back and forth. When arriving, it's hard not to fall in love with this amazing, cute little cabin. It was nice knowing we also had our own privacy on their ranch. This place is a must stay!! Close to many good places to eat, breweries, and wineries. If ever in the area again for maybe some time for just us, we will be back. Thanks Tricia
