This is a quiet place to spend a few days or a few weeks. Surrounded by vineyards and a breathtaking view of Lake Erie. Arwen Farms is a family owned and operated, fourth generation grape farm, in the heart of New York's, beautiful Chautauqua County Grape Country.
Whether you are looking for summer fun like boating, wine trails, scenic trail riding and fishing or winter activities like skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, you'll find it here in Ripley, NY. A trip to Niagara Falls, museums, professional sporting events, shopping, or spending the day at a water park, amusement park, or state park: it's an easy drive from here. Or you can just kick back and relax at the fire pit and enjoy our amazing sunsets over Lake Erie.
Our rental come fully furnished, all you need to bring are your personal items and your food. This is a country location with well water, we have recently add a whole house chlorinating water treatment system.

Loved this property!
The Niagara farm was more charming in person than the pictures do it justice. Lots of games for kids, sunset across the vineyards, view of Erie. The covered porch was great with grill. I sat out there every morning/evening. My only negetive is the staircase. Everyone, including kids, had to be careful, with that said, i would stay here again. It was so lovely to slow down. The things we did that were close by were Ripley Beach, Bemus Point, Barcelona Beach, Pottage Pies, Panama Rocks, National Comedy Center, Niagara Falls (1.5 hour drive), Presque Isle State Park (on way home).

Deep in Erie Wine Country
For the 3 of us, it was great. We enjoyed the Presque isle hiking trails, kayaking and boat tour spread out over 3 days. Local meadery was a nice find. Campfire Friday and Saturday nights. Place was clean, had everything needed in the kitchen, we did one load of laundry, nice to go back with clean clothes.

Quiet Escape
This was a perfect mini vacation for the four of us. My SO and I were just looking for a quiet getaway that our two girls (10 &13) would be able to have fun while we were relaxing. The house is in the middle of a beautiful working vineyard; close to Prescot Isle and Niagara Falls. The hostess was extremely helpful and friendly, actually meeting us when we arrived. It was an amazingly well maintained farm house that had adorable country flair. Defiantly was well worth the trip, and we would love to bring our families back

A little surprised
It seems they operator of this establishment was rather anti-drinking, with warnings about empty alcohol containers found in the garage would lead to additional charges. If they don't want Alcohol (which they have every right) then I think they should state so prior to renting the location. We were there to tour the wine region, so it was rather inconvenient.

Serene Getaway
My wife and I both work very stressful jobs in the health care field. We were looking for a quiet, romantic getaway to de-stress. We found the Vineyard House on VRBO for an excellent price! Originally, we had booked a hotel in Erie but Vineyard House was less expensive with a lot more amenities and space. So happy we picked this property over the hotel. The location was perfect for us. We visit Erie at least once a year for a long weekend. Bike riding on Presque Isle, hiking, picnics on the beach…. Vineyard House was approx 50 minutes away from Presque Isle which was fine with us. We were planning on traveling East to Chautauqua Lake this trip so it put us right in the middle of both locations. The farm house was located on a vineyard which was so cool. The air smells like Welch’s Grape Juice. The owner contacted us a day before checking into the Vineyard House. The hot water heater went bad so she let us stay at the Concord House which was the other side of the same property. Very thoughtful of the owner to accommodate us on such short notice. The property is an old farm house. So quaint, clean and comfortable. We both grew up in the country so we appreciated the large yard, fire pit, vineyard, fruit trees, flowers and so much more. Please don’t book this property if you’re expecting all the modern conveniences of a Marriott. Also, if you’re not used to well water, bring some bottled water with you. The owners have decorated tastefully with a country flair. We could tell they poured hard work and love into the house. We enjoyed the full kitchen with toaster, coffee maker, stove, pots, pans and everything else you need to prepare a meal. We only ate breakfast every morning at the house. The living room had a tv with NetFlix and other options. The house also has wi-fi that works well unless you are live streaming. We watched our church’s service on line but it was a little choppy. The furniture was beautiful - antiques in excellent shape. The dining room had a beautiful wood table. We both thought the bed was super comfortable. Thank you Wendy for a delightful stay.

This property is wonderful. My family and I visit this area about once a year. This was the most useful place we have stayed. If you are looking for a cozy and quiet place to stay, this is it. Its not glamerous, but has everything you could possibly need for your stay. I would definatly recommend staying here.
