The cabin was perfect and had everything I needed, which was mainly peace and quiet. Had dinner at the lovely James Ranch Grill and enjoyed the Durango Hot Springs and Spa not far away. All in all a wonderful stay!

James Ranch Cabin
The cabin was beautiful. Terry greeted us upon arrival and we even met the puppies. O recommend this for a quiet getaway. Plenty of hiking and nature attractions to see close by.

Perfect Durango Stay!
Everything about this cabin is absolutely wonderful! From the screened-in back porch to the peaceful front patio, the entire place is a perfect retreat to enjoy the Animas valley outside of Durango. Lovely Cabin
Beautiful retreat in the forest. It was very clean, cozy and comfortable. The bed was very nice and the wood stove was an extra added bonus for morning yoga! There’s a front and back porch and birdsong all day long. Terry was available on the property but gave us privacy. Do yourself a favor and grab a burger at the Jane’s Ranch Grill (it’s the same family’s business). GOAT burgers!!!

Beautiful mountain forest getaway
My son and I thoroughly enjoyed this cabin. Very clean and well supplied. I greatly appreciated Terry's aid in finding the cabin for our 9 PM plus arrival, and her easy reachability. We also appreciated being able to spend an additional night as well.

Perfect little cabin
This was the PERFECT holiday getaway. Such a wonderful location... just between downtown Durango and the mountain, tucked in the woods is the perfect little cabin. Beautifully appointed. The owner was so thoughtful and provided everything we could need for a cozy stay. We stayed during the Christmas holidays, and the cabin was decorated so perfectly. We enjoyed nightly fires while relaxing after busy days. Can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Cabin which was equipped with everything one would need. The location was close to hiking trails, the river, and biking trails and the front porch with flowers was our favorite place to sit and watch birds and enjoy the scenery. Terry, the host was very communicative and accommodating.

Awesome retreat
Great location just north of Durango nestled in the woods with mountain views. Located right next to farm to table ranch restaurant, the property manager Terry was very accommodating. PJ's gourmet grocery and Animas liquor store 2 miles down the road perfect to purchase dinner items. I truly enjoyed my relaxing stay and will certainly be back.

Loved our stay at "The Cabin"
We had an amazing stay at "The Cabin". The cabin is super cozy, very clean, really cute and has everything you need, including a washer and dryer! The location is great, nestled in the middle of the Animas Valley. It's close to the greatest hiking, skiing and other outdoor activities. The cabin is within a minutes walk to James Ranch. James Ranch has a market and an outdoor grill. Very convenient. It's also just a 10 minute drive to Downtown Durango where there are tons of restaurants and bars. It was a perfect place for us to come home to after hiking and golfing. We loved it and highly recommend "The Cabin"!
