The Indigo Tiny House on The Saluda River

Summary:
This beautiful Tiny Home is situated right on the Saluda River and is the ideal spot to get away for a few days! Situated 10 minutes from Downtown Greenville, you're in the perfect place to either escape reality and sit on the Saluda River for a weekend, or be right in the hustle and bustle of one of the friendliest downtown areas in America. Depending on the season, we offer fun river activities, like tubing, through Saluda Outdoor Center. Each firepit will have complimentary firewood. We will also give you fire starters and matches. If you would like to purchase more firewood, you may do so at the office. Each bundle will be $5 each.

The Space:
Our cozy and elegant tiny home is just perfect for a couple's getaway or someone seeking a solo adventure or restful retreat. This cute little home away from home is situated on the grounds of The Saluda Outdoor Center, which is a busy tubing outfitter during the summer months. The living room space is equipped with a small couch, television that has access to Youtube TV and other streaming channels, spectacular river views, and an efficiency kitchen, which includes a microwave, Keurig, mini refrigerator, hot plate, and toaster oven. The beautiful full sized bathroom, with large tiled shower, is a luxurious treat. The private bedroom with a deluxe queen bed and soft sheets invite guests to sleep deeply or just snuggle down and watch a movie. We offer fast speed internet and WiFi and free parking on the property. The Indigo Tiny home neighbors several other tiny homes and glamping campers on the property. Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash at all times and you must pick up after them. Please note, pet owners will be responsible for any damage and or special cleaning.

The Neighborhood:
This tiny home is located on the property of the Saluda Outdoor Center (SOC), where we also have several tiny houses available as short-term and long-term rentals. On the other side of the property, there are "glamping" structures, tent camping options, and community fire pits. If you want to explore the area, our location is ideal. We are less than 5 miles from Falls Park in Downown Greenville; a five minute drive to the Village of West Greenville (Art District); 2.5 miles to Greenville/Pickens Speedway; 5 miles to Easley; 25 miles to Clemson University; 5 miles to Swamp Rabbit Trail; 30 minutes to Table Rock State Park...and much more! No matter what you decide, to stay around or venture out, you're sure to have a wonderful adventure!

Getting Around:
We recommend that you provide your own vehicle, as there is no public transportation to our facility. Uber, Lyft, and local Taxi service will accommodate this location, if that's preferred. This area is rich with hiking and biking trails, but will still require transportation to access trail entrances.

Tiny House Trial
We chose this property to get an idea of what time house life could be like. The property and design of the home are perfect for a couple only. The home is a little too small with a one year old involved. The location was great. The home sits with other tiny homes on a property that has a brewhouse and river rafting company. We stayed over on Memorial Day so the facility was busy Sunday and Monday with a live band at the brewhouse on Memorial Day. All in all it was a great atmosphere.

1st tiny home experience
Great 1st time in a tiny home. Super cute decor and perfect location to relax by the River, grab a bite to eat and enjoy a cool beverage from the brewery on property. Can’t wait to revisit in the summer to experience the tubing! I bet it’s so much fun! Thanks for providing clean, hassle free accommodations!

Good views
Nice stay for a relaxing weekend right on the river. It was clean and the communication with the property manager was great. They contacted me right away when there was a tornado watch and warning with instructions. Only issues was the gnats getting into the tiny home.

great for tubers
If I didn't have my dogs with me I would probably give this all 5's. It was nice being right on the river. Swimming is an option. All of the homes are on a gravel lot with very little grass area-some broken glass was noted. I needed to take my dogs 10-15 minutes away in order to exercise them. Ideal place for couples or singles looking for a little nature while still close to Greenville,

Great Weekend Getaway!!
My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for a nice long weekend. Loved how close it was to downtown Greenville which allowed us to explore easily. This was our first tiny home experience and everything was as advertised! Loved the view of the lake and the quaint and quiet community. Will definitely recommend!

Such a Cute Tiny House
When they say "Tiny House", they really mean tiny. It was barely big enough for me and my husband but if you ever needed an alone getaway, this would be perfect. There were a few other campers there so it wasn't super-private, but it was nice and quiet. The only downside was all the road noise. The site is right off a main road and it looks secluded, but there's a large volume of traffic and very loud motorcycle racing nearby. That was the only downside though. The river is beautiful and peaceful. There is a bar on the property which is a nice place and the people getting drunk and fighting outside made for some interesting entertainment. It really is a nice place for families aside from that.

FANTASTIC LOCATION
The Saluda tiny homes are such a fantastic getaway just minutes from Greenville. The quiet location makes a perfect spot to get away, have a fire, and listen to the river. We will definitely be back.
