I loved my stay. The staff was warm and friendly. Everything in room was adequate and clean. We had nice shower too. The extras - candy in lobby / gracious friendly helpful staff, location on beach, and close to shops and food options and Eastbourne pier, , a great game / sitting room to have a drink in and a pool table. An old lift with character We had a marvelous 2 nights here.

No carpark but street parking and it's free after 6pm. Also think they offer a discount at the reception but didn't need it. A very nice receptionist told me all I needed to know. A very old style lift to most floors but still had to take stairs to my room. Room size was good, shower room on the other hand absolutely tiny! The bed was very comfortable. Wifi is excellent The shower was lagging in power Location along the seafront close to lots of restaurants and pubs. Great value for what you get The room was clean. You are not allowed to take the room key out of the hotel as it's attached to a long piece of wood as shown in the video. You get a breakfast bag to take away in the morning on check out. Has a bar and pool table.

Lovely Hotel,has been said before,bit dated but so are a lot of the hotels in Eastbourne the room we stayed in a large double sea view was lovely the view over the sea was superb staff very friendly and helpful,for the price excellent value ,would stay again

Would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed for 2nts with our dog over August Bank Holiday and wouldnā€™t hesitate to go back. In great location close to seafront and town centre and walkable to Beachy Head. Staff were welcoming and gave good recommendations for dinner and also provided a leaflet with discount. The takeaway breakfast was also a great touch and unexpected.

Great staff, great location, complementary breakfast included ( croissants jam, yogurts and juice) but property needs refurbishment. It was a very good price though. Room we stayed was redone in 2021 but that means painted over the old wallpaper and walls, yellow stains coming already through the paint. Twin no sea view room had poorly fitted bathroom linoleum, uneven floor with mouldy creased shower curtain that kept letting water through onto the bathroom floor. Shower head kept collapsing. Shame it wasnā€™t fully upgraded.

Nice hotel, great location
Nice hotel, super friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Bed wasn't the most comfortable but that's down to personal preference on the mattress.

Friendly hotel, room had an amazing sea view. Loved how they had put a dog bed, left out a bowl of water and a bag of treats for our little dog. Already recommended to my doggy friends. We had a great stayā€¦shame it was for only one night!

Very nice old building though showing it's age a bit. Owners are very nice and helpful and overall had a very pleasant stay. Very comfortable bed and lovely views over the sea.

Wonderful sunny stay and view
The stay was amazing. We had a winderful view from the front of the building. The only small issue was we were not aware part of the hotel was being worked on which means we had scaffolding next to us. The workers didn't bother us much and mostly made noise/play the radio after 10am.
