Bring your whole family to this 6 bedroom, 1920's farmhouse in a quiet neighborhood where everyone can have their own bedroom!

Combines the character of a 100 year old house with everything you need for a perfect vacation.
6 bedrooms, 6 queen beds.
Stunning views over the straights to Mount Baker
The very quiet public beach is 200 yards down the lane
Large, fully fenced in yard for kids to play and dogs to have some freedom
4 Kayaks for your use (signed waiver needed)

The Space:

Built in 1925 and at 2100 sq ft, the house has a few age related charms and plenty of space for your whole family.

A large dining table to seat everyone while staring at the postcard view of the straights and Mount Baker.

Parking for up to 4 cars is available onsite and there is a maximum of 10 people (adults and children) allowed at the house.


The house is 5 minutes from Eastsound and has unobstructed views of the straights and Mt Baker. The neighborhood is quiet, rural residential so this is NOT A PARTY house, it is incredibly important to me that any guests of the house are great neighbors so please observe the quiet hours and remember that there are others living near by. There is public access to the beach 200 yards down the lane, the neighbors to the left and right own the beach either side of the public access to the mean high water level so although you can walk along the beach, please be respectful and keep some distance from the waterfront home yards.

There is a security camera covering the parking area and entrance to the house.

Mooring buoy and kayaks are available with signing of a waiver

Dogs are welcome but the following Pet Policy must be adhered to:

1. Dogs are not allowed to be left unattended in the house.
2. All dog poop must be picked up and disposed of (bags supplied in dispenser).
3. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture (couches/beds etc)
4. I do not require any deposit, but there is an additional cleaning fee of $50

Spent the weekend with extended family at this accommodating farm house and we all had an excellent time walking the beach, taking out kayaks, sitting around the fire and playing with the dog in the open yard!

Beautiful place in great location
The property is nicely spacious, including five large bedrooms, dining room and living room, and a large fenced yard. The property has a beautiful view of the ocean and is located in a wonderful neighborhood, a short drive from town and the airport. The kayaks on site were so fun to take to the ocean, just down the road.

Orcas Island vaction
The house was just as advertized. Very nice, well stocked kitchen, clean rooms and comfortable beds. We brought our boat and tying up to the mooring boyee worked great, easy row in. Would recommend this place to anyone.

great property with a beautiful view of the sound. Host was very accommodating and checked in regularly to see if there was anything we needed. Our dog enjoyed the large fenced yard to run around in and our family enjoyed the fire pit and smores in the evenings!

Cant beat the view!
I've never stayed in such a thoughtfully appointed rental property. Tons of lawn games and kayaks for guest use! The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We hadnt planned on kayaking but my daughter couldnt resist when she saw them. One of us got to have a fun interaction with a seal. We made amazing family memories thanks to Nigel.

The spacious and comfortable home affording us plenty of room for our family. The large fenced in yard was great for play and our dog. The kitchen was well supplied. The front porch had a spectacular view and was a favorite place to sit and watch the sunrise and listen to the birds. It was also a good place to gather on a rainy day. The 3 bathrooms and 6 bedrooms were great for an extended family vacation.

Awesome.
Very nice home in a very nice setting. Older property very nicely updated. Rooms are ample, beds are comfy, appliances all work well, everything nice and clean. We were ther at a cold and snowy time. Dramatic views of the sound with Mt. Baker just behind during the cold and clear parts of our trip. Host Nigel was great. We had two power outages during our stay, county wide events that resulted from high winds. Nigel was very attentive and communicative during that time and the house is well prepared with emergency lights and heat from a gas powered fireplace. Overall great stay.

Refreshing Farmhouse Charm
The property is as advertised with a stunning view and comfortable accommodations. The pantry was thoughtfully full of basics gifted by previous guests which was a delight. The property owner was accessible for both check-in and any questions that arose. Beautiful front porch to sit and enjoy a morning (or evening beverage). Really a delight all around. Appreciated the clear and simple check-in and check-out instructions and expectations. Not too many! Thank you, Nige! Will happily return for a family gathering.

Perfect for the family
We enjoyed our family reunion stay on Orcas and appreciated everything the home offered. We were super grateful for the early check in, found all we needed in the kitchen, had a corn hole tournament, and enjoyed kayaking. What a wonderful three days of exploring, talking, and relaxing. Celebrating Turning 75
This house is the perfect place to gather a group of friends. We have been meeting off and on for the past 25 years and this home was perfect for our group. There was room in both the dining room and the living room to include everyone in a conversation, as well as enough bedrooms for privacy. The beds were comfortable and the house was neat and clean. The location was conveniently close to Eastsound without being in the middle of all the tourists. I highly recommend this house, location and owner/manager who was very responsive to every question.

House is exactly what I thought it would be. Spacious but cozy, very clean and extras we weren't expecting! Our host thought of everything including marshmallow sticks, propane lighter and wood for fire pit. Box fans for every bedroom. Close to town but house is woodsy and wonderful, modern conveniences with a vintage feel! Absolutely stunning view from back porch. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful Spot
This is a classic early 20th Century farmhouse that easily accommodated 8 of us for a perfect late August week. The beach is accessible, the house is comfortable, and amenities are a short drive away. The kitchen is the best equipped I have encountered in a VRBO. The mattresses are great and there is plenty of room for the 10 people allowed at the property. We all wanted to stay another week. Oh yes, and we saw bald eagles, mink, river otter, and had a very successful whale watching trip.

Beautiful setting, everything you need in understated charm
Four generations age 13-95y/o spent a week enjoying Orcas. The on-site kayaks were a bonus that allowed us to kayak at will. A very short stroll to the beach and a big backyard with nice flowers and shady afternoons. Understated, clean and charming. Teens had their own bedrooms and our dog kept alert for the river otter that made its way ocean to pond every evening. Everybody was happy! Thank you Nige for hosting and quickly answering all our questions. A great find that we will return to.

I should say this place was horrible to keep it as my little secret, but it was fantastic! I used to live in the islands and knew the view I wanted. This property did not disappoint! Well maintained, beautiful old home with spectacular view! Lots of room in the house, comfortable beds and fun yard games for all ages. Loved everything about the experience!
