Inside, you'll love the home's rustic atmosphere while you catch up on a good mystery novel or watch a good movie on the flatscreen TV. Savor a nice glass of wine out on the furnished deck with bay views to Canada, then come inside to warm up next to the wood-burning fireplace. The group chef will find everything they need to create tonight's home-cooked masterpiece in the full kitchen. After a long and rejuvenating hike, enjoy a good soak in the private covered hot tub.

Grab your binoculars for a whale sighting and pick up some burgers to cook on the propane grill to fully enjoy your Eastsound vacation.

This cabin is steps from the water and just a short walk to Point Thompson. Downtown Eastsound is a short drive, where you can find great local fare at Wild Island Restaurant. There are plenty of beaches to explore on the island, with lots of wildlife to check out at Moran State Park.

Great place to stay for multiple couples
We came with 3 couples. Every group had their own bedroom and bathroom. The views were absolutely stunning! We saw a bald eagle, sea otters, porpoises, seals, deer, turkeys, and various other animals. This location is close to town but also secluded. We couldn’t have picked a better place. Our stay was perfect!

Comfortable house with wonderful views of the water. Nice path to walk down to the water at low tide. We generally found the kitchen to be a bit small but we managed by limiting the number of people in the space at a time.

Wonderful Pinecone Cabin
This rental was very nice with fantastic views of Sucia & Matia Islands. The house is large with lots of sleeping options. The kitchen was well stocked and the hot tub utilized after some good hiking days. The sunny but cool spring weather allowed us to lounge by the wood burning stove. Having a truck, I opted to back down the narrow driveway which I thought was easier to manage. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home.

Pinecone cabin has amazing views, cozy beds and ideally located very close to East sound. Easy walk to the beach. Candidly, the property is pretty dated and not the cleanest (cobwebs, dust on furniture). Hard to give it a 5 star review given overall condition of cabin and cleanliness.

Everything great but for three small problems. Door keypad didn't work. Left the porch door unlocked and used that. Driveway is very steep and not lit. Was afraid to use it after dark. Kitchen knives are completely useless. They should be replaced.

It's a nice property with ample sleeping and relaxing space for our group of 8. The kitchen and dining room (only 6 chairs) are just a bit small. The porch and and beach access are absolutely stunning. The dogs loved the swimming, the grill and porch were great to sit on, and we even got to see a pod of orcas swim pass.

Orcas Oasis
Cozy, beautiful, light-filled home perched at the water's edge was the perfect setting for a Thanksgiving retreat with family. Close to Eastsound for good shopping and good food, but equally inviting as a place to cook up a holiday meal for a group. We hope to enjoy the warm hospitality and great scenery of Pine Cone Cabin again soon.

Wonderful Family retreat
Wonderful 5 days celebrating mothers 91st and sisters 71st birthday. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and there was enough places to gather in the living room. The drive in and out was intense but we had 2 good drivers who managed the driveway each time we came and went.

The views and relaxing environment are top notch. My daughter has a wonderful birthday celebration there and we’ll be sure to return. Wow! We loved staying in this home. It was easy access to the city center, Doe Boy, Moran State park and more. Well stocked with linen and cooking supplies. The views of the water were amazing - saw some dolphins and seals (using binoculars at the home). Pinecone theme/decor was lovely as well as the hot tub. Super quiet and serene! Would love to go back!!!

The house is in a private, quiet location on the north side of Orcas Island, with a private walk (steep) down to a rocky strip of beachfront. The home is in good condition, was clean, plenty of bedroom and bathroom space for a larger family or multiple families. Of course there's also a hot tub outside. This time of year, my only knock isn't about the property, but being on the north end with a steep hill behind it, there isn't much sunshine to be had.
