I loved the Royal Scots Club!!! It is old and elegant but complete with every convenience and updated amenities. The food was excellent and I enjoyed both dinner and breakfast there. I will definitely return on my next trip to Edinburgh and I recommend it to all.

The Royal Scots Club is a lovely hotel in a very pretty part of Edinburgh. I found the staff friendly and very helpful. The hotel is a throwback to another era in a good way, very charming. My room was large and comfortable and the bonus was the park across the road! thankyou for a lovely stay! I have already recommended the hotel to a friend

We had a very pleasant 7 day stay at the Royal Scots Club Our room was in the annex which involved going down some quite steep steps but staff were very helpful with our cases. The room itself was warm, comfortable with plenty of storage and two armchairs. Tea and coffee facilities were topped up daily. The general lounge was a great place to relax after a busy day in Edinburgh. It’s also really close to a bus stop with regular buses to the city centre The only criticism is the fact that the breakfast was always served too soon to the table and consequently was cold by the time we had finished our cereal

The whole stay was perfect - the staff in particular were amazing ; the restaurant ladies in particular could not have been nicer or provide a better service. I will always stay here when I visit Edinburgh

we stayed in the classic double/twin room. it was a lot larger than we expected, the view was nice, ameneties were good. some old building jank (bathroom door didn't close/lock properly), but overall very nice & enjoyable especially for a 3* hotel.

A real Scotland experience
Our room was wonderful—huge open space with big windows and very high ceilings. The bedding was very cozy, and staff were helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed the quiet and calm neighborhood in enchilada hotel was located. A couple of things could be improved: we would have appreciated better TV (more availability of channels). We also wished for a grab bar on the wall beside the tub. This old- fashion tubs with high sides are particularly dangerous for elderly people. Nevertheless we enthusiastically recommend the Royal Scots Club.
