There was a pile of renovation mess (buckets of smelly paint water, materials, etc) outside the elevator and the pop and ice machines were out of order. Breakfast was mediocre (but not bad). Outside stairs to the parking weren’t shovelled and packed with icy snow. Room itself was clean, quiet, and safe. No issues that weren’t mostly circumstantial and hopefully not a regular occurrence.

The hotel was quiet and well-maintained. The breakfast was solid with good options, though check the baked goods; some were shockingly stale. The pool and hot tub were essential to warming up after the shock of Alberta's cold. Our only disappointment was the room that was advertised as having Queen beds only had doubles.
