We chose this hotel because of the room type available, two ‘separate /private’ sleeping area. We reserved the Jr Business Suite w/ King bed (?) ~ one side of room had King bed. The other side, separated by sliding divider (with additional curtain for added privacy) had pull out sofa, counter, sink, micro, desk and chair. Most of the positives end here. We were counting on using the sofa bed. First thing we noticed was the stain (s) There was no bedding on sofa bed or anywhere in the room. Mattress was TERRIBLE ! ! It took 3 calls to front desk for an answer. Didn’t matter that jetted bathtub was a nice surprise; it didn’t work. And, there were no face cloths! The A/C unit was VERY LOUD. Prob too small for size of room. King side - freezing. Sofa side / sauna. Rest / bar, the poor lady working that night!! Who has ONE person working a rest / bar at a hotel. Or at the very least doesn’t have someone on call for busy nites. We waited an hour for our food and were offered no refills. We said our thank you’s and tipped well. Poor girl!! Buffet breakfast - when there was food, it looked good. Can’t say more. 20 mins I was there, I had 1/2 cup of juice and a few scrambled eggs, scrape from the pan. Nothing was refilled in that time. More people were frustrated and upset. We’ll be coming to Edmonton, 1-2 times a month. Room type, or similar room has us considering staying again, but not without a serious conversation (or two)
