The room was quiet and peaceful. Upper room washroom noise was a little annoying but overall no complaints. There was wetness around the toilet, so I think there is a pipe problem in the wall or something.

Staff arranged for the room booking to be on the level that requiered renovation works to be done the next day. I was checked in the night before. Staff should have communicated that with us or arrange for a different room. Hotel was not busy or full. They said the noise and carpet removal would take 2 minutes but it took at least 4 hours. I even mentioned about changing rooms when front desk called to ask me to open my door so they can remove threshold carpet. I clearly had the Do Not Disturb sign on the room door. Renovation guys even told my husband not to get into our room that we paid for as they were doing new carpeting, limiting our movements to either be in the room or stay out until they're done. Terrible service on hotel's part. Unprofessional and impolite. Would not stay again.
