It was central so everything was about a $25 Uber or less. What was terrible was Plenty of drug users hanging around outside the hotel and that there was no maid service, even though I put the "please clean room" placard on the door.

Great location for what I needed. Neighbours were noisy and my socks got dirty real fast on the rug, probably wasn’t steam cleaned in awhile. Staff was friendly, Chop Steak house was excellent.

Dated furnature and amenities. Dressers were very worn. Basic cheap one cup coffee machine on top a cheap microwave (very motel like). The rooms are not inviting or aesthetically pleasing. Place needs a major overhaul especially for its location.

Only downside is parking. First night, parkade was full and I got shuffled to one in another building. Late night arrivals/returns to hotel sometimes meant having to wait for security to let me into the parkade with my vehicle... and one night that was a 12-min process. Otherwise, location, condition and comfort was all very good and definite value.

My family & I have stayed at the Edmonton Downtown Sandman and have never had any problems. The Hotel's location is very convenient for us and since my son is sleeping when we arrive from the airport, the front desk immediately checks if there are available rooms for us so my son can rest comfortably. The front desk staff were great and I believe the people make a great hotel. I left impressed with the service and will come back.

Lack of cleanliness, the place needs to be renovated. Tv was poor , the lady at the reception was really rude when I called to inquire about the tv since it wasn’t smart as showed over the booking.

The check in and customer service experience was very good, but the cleanliness and quality of the hotel was really lacking. We also booked a room with 2 queens and ended up having to squish on 2 doubles. They did offer a small discount because of the bed size as there were no queen rooms available.

The Hotel staff was friendly and courteous, housekeeping staff was delightful. My only complaint is the front desk took our license plate number but either submitted it wrong or didn’t input it and we woke up to a lovely parking ticket on our windshield the next morning. Other than that the stay was wonderful.

The restaurant inside the hotel is convenient, the lobby is clean and beautiful. Our bed is clean and comfortable minus the pillows, the pillows are too bulky that my neck hurt the next day. The washroom is okay, fridge and the microwave in room is great! The carpet in the room was sticky, feels like it’s not very clean, the washroom floor is not that clean, corners have dirt like it’s not vacuumed/wiped properly. The swimming pool is nice, the floor to the gym and to the pool from the changing area was very slippery and wet, it’s a hazard. The hot tub is not very clean, there’s a lot of small stuff/dirt/rocks by the steps of the hot tub. Over all it’s a good stay but I expected better on cleanliness and safety for this higher rated hotel. Received a $10 voucher for the restaurant for being VIP, upgrade was not offered as per the survey. Thanks

Nice rooms. Could be cleaned a bit better. Pretty busy and noisy and AWFUL parking! Hotel parking filled up and we had to park in pay parking. Costing almost 80.00 for the night.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and my experience was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff were unwelcoming and seemed disinterested in helping. When I finally got to my room, I discovered that the toilet flush wasn't working. This forced me to move to another room, which was a huge inconvenience. To top it off, despite registering my car for parking with the hotel, I received a ticket for unauthorized parking. This was the final straw in what was already a terrible stay. Overall, my experience at this hotel was horrible. The lack of proper customer service, room maintenance issues, and parking problems made my stay stressful and unpleasant. I strongly recommend staying away from this place.
