We feel the inside of the house was well stocked and maintained. However, There were no dish cloths available, very few wash cloths and very few Kleenexes. The furniture here was more comfortable than other places we have been. While we enjoyed the deck and other outside spaces, we feel the deck railings, deck chair cushions and the boat dock area would benefit from being updated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

A nice little getaway.
The house had a great set up. The pool by far was our favorite. The kids loved fishing but I was a little nervous because the dock area is pretty outdated along with most of the outside furniture but my family still have a great time! Would definitely rent again.

Family Gathering
The interior of the house itself was great. Very well stocked with almost anything you could need including games, kitchen items, towels, pool towels, shampoo and soap. The BBQ grill came equipped with utensils and a spare full tank of propane. The inside of the home is layed out well, clean and the A/C works excellent. The furniture was more like patio furniture however, so it could use a comfortable couch for watching TV. The pool was nice and was heated. It also has a motorized cover to keep out debris. However, the outside of this home was neglected. It was dirty and not maintained. There is overgrown landscape, weeds and many spider webs. The gate from the deck to the pool needs major repair. The boat dock was in need of repair also, and not very well set to tie a boat up to (needs bumpers and cleats). The tables and BBQ grill were dirty. The deck also had built up leaves in the corners. In spite of the condition of the outside of the home, this was a great experience for us, and we enjoyed it very much. It was an incredible family getaway in a very nice house, on a beautiful lake with a pool. I would come again - if they would have me after my candid review :)

Air Conditioning Does Not Cool House
The air conditioning in the house did not come close to cooling the home. It was 80 plus degrees most of the two days we stayed. Very uncomfortable! Otherwise the house was great.

The pool saved the stay
This place has a nice layout, but it does have a few issues, like broken furniture and some maintenance upkeep The salt water pool was the best part of our stay. To rate this place as excellent would be misleading, but still we enjoyed our stay. The other issue is this Evolve vacation rental service is useless, absolutely useless. Could not answer one question. I don’t know why a property owner would use that service. The Firefly grill was fantastic! We will be coming back to Lake Sara this fall, but staying somewhere else.

Many things in long-term disrepair. Soon as we entered driveway it was a let-down. Yard needs a LOT of attention. Kitchen towels full of HOLES! Arm fell off loveseat, patio door handle coming off, lots wrong inside. No chaise lounges, outdoor furniture very old, some dangerous. Decking, railings, rotted wood, many boards are trip hazards...too much to list. We wrote letters to VRBO, owner and ENCORE, sent many pictures. We thought it would be beautiful-big bummer to say the least.

We’re three old friends, who relaxed in this comfortable property, especially enjoying the pool on a hot week. Many out door spaces to gather & have some wine or a nice read.. if you’re into birdwatching, you’ll have bonus entertainment. Not too nearby neighbors fished or golfed as we chatted at a deck on the lake. Comfy beds & furniture. Excellent a/c & water pressure. Plenty of kitchen accessories. Great communication by the contact property manager, better than that of “ the evolve team”, who take a long time to answer an email. ( many restaurants nearby in main part of town if needed )

Nice house. Was a little odd as far as no useable closets and had slot of personal items giving it a kind of cluttered feel. But the house and pool were perfect for us. The handicap friendly bathrooms were a huge plus. Well stocked with essentials and many extras. We enjoyed the nice pool, lounged by the water on the dock, played games around the large table and enjoyed a movie on Netflix.. Very relaxing. Even made friends with neighborhood cat. Would highly recommend for a nice relaxing no hassle stay.

Beautiful home in quiet neighborhood. Pool is a plus!!! Completely stocked with anything you might need. Resident orange tabby is as friendly as can be💜 she lounged on the deck and we spoiled her🥰. We had a lovely stay with some old high school friends. The location was great, and everything was clean. Wish we had nicer weather to enjoy the pool more! Some of the drawers and cabinets could use some decluttering, but overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
