Relax with the whole family at this peaceful home on 1+ acres in the woods after a day at the beach, kayaking, hiking or wine tasting. Enjoy your morning coffee on the new front deck in the morning sun or on the new back deck overlooking a flagstone patio with firepit and seasonal creek. Only 10 minutes from Egg Harbor that features many restaurants, shopping, coffee, excellent sunsets over the marina and beach. Stayed to celebrate my mom’s and aunt’s birthdays. Plenty of room for our 6 family members. Everything was sparkling clean and the check in check out process was very easy. The wooded location was very pretty as well. We would stay here again.

Lucky to get this rental so close to Frank Murphy park as base camp for the weekend tri races held in and around Egg Harbor. Rory was clear and helpful in his messaging to me and we had a great stay at the Cat’s Lair! Would highly recommend to any family looking for a clean and secluded rental as a launching point for enjoying everything that Door County has to offer.

This property was the perfect place and size for 3 couples and 3 children. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked and the fire pit was a hit! Quick and easy code in and the information booklet and check out policies were very detailed.

My parents spent many summers sailing around Door County. They wanted to relive some of those good times at 88 and 92. This home was comfortable for two couples and close to everything they wanted to see and do. Thanks for a great trip down memory lane.

Our family of 5 rented Cat’s Lair last minute due to problems with a different booking. Rory was super responsive and helpful in accommodating our needs. The house was the perfect size and we loved the quiet, central Door County location. The house was very clean, and had everything we needed. We were not able to use the lovely fire pit area due to rain, but would have enjoyed it under better weather circumstances. We highly recommend staying here and would do so again!
