Welcome to the Lone Pine Ranch Guesthouse! Our guesthouse was created from the original farmhouse on our property and was built over 100 years ago. We are located just a few miles east of Ellensburg, WA in the middle of beautiful hay fields and cow pastures. Our goal is to provide comfortable accommodations with modern amenities with a nod to days gone by.
You will walk in the front door to a comfortable living area with a three-seat sofa, two swivel chairs and extra seating should it be needed. A 65" smart TV is the perfect way to pass some time on a rainy day or relax in the evenings. Board games, playing cards and a selection of books and magazines are also provided.
The newly-remodeled kitchen is well equipped to enable you to cook most any meal. We provide coffee, sugar, creamer, tea, salt, pepper and cooking spray. Please bring along any other foods that you will need. The dining room provides seating for six guests.
The primary bedroom provides a king-sized bed with a Sealy Posturepedic innerspring mattress, a desk for any work that may need doing, a second 65" smart TV and an attached full bathroom.
The next bedroom offers a queen-sized bed with a Sealy Posturepedic innerspring mattress and two nightstands.
The third bedroom offers a twin-sized bed with a Beautyrest innerspring mattress. There is a trundle bed with a memory foam mattress underneath. Please note that the trundle bed has a maximum weight limit of approximately 125 lbs and is most suitable for children or a very small adult. It may not be comfortable otherwise.
There are three bathrooms in the home. One full bathroom attached to the primary bedroom, one 3/4 bath across from the other two bedrooms and one 1/2 bath around the corner from the kitchen. We provide basic amenities such as hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Please bring all other toiletries that you may require.
Laundry machines are in the home as well as enough detergent for you to run a few loads during your stay if you would like to do so.
Please keep in mind that the home is heated and cooled by a mini-split unit in the living room. There are also baseboard heaters in the bedrooms and throughout the house for extra warmth. The fireplace in the living room is very old and no longer operable. It's only for decoration at this point in its life. In winter, the floors of our quaint old farmhouse can be cool. A pair of slippers is recommended! In the summertime, nights are usually cool and open windows may provide a breeze and small fans are provided for each bedroom.
We, your hosts, live next door to the guesthouse. We are available should any urgent needs arise. You may hear or see us around the property doing our normal farm chores, but will give you privacy to enjoy your stay. Please also note that the guesthouse is part of a duplex and you will have neighbors to the south of you. It is not your typical duplex, however, and you will only share one small wall with your neighbors on the other side. We do ask that you respect their space and privacy. Quiet hours are from 9:00pm to 7:00am.
We live next door and are generally available should you need anything during your stay. We are a busy family though, so we may not always be available immediately.
Our guesthouse is located east of Ellensburg by a few miles. Your only neighbors are us, your hosts, plus the residents on the other side of the duplex.
SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS: For the safety of our children and our farm animals, we respectfully ask that you not bring pets to the guesthouse. Also, there is a creek that runs behind the guesthouse and a large pond nearby. Please keep a very close eye on children when outdoors.
