This isn't a five-star luxury hotel. But if you're looking for a clean, pleasant, budget place to stay the night with a decent (not fancy) breakfast and a wonderful, helpful, friendly staff...look no further. No complaints.

Good customer service from employees from a hotel that could use some updates. Pool not working. (Part of the reason we originally chose this hotel for our kids. Hot tub NOT Hot and dirty water, including finding hair in it. The whole hotel is obviously pretty old but it does seem that they try overall to update some things with it. Unfortunately there is a train somewhere nearby that woke us up a couple times but nothing they can do about that. The walls seem paper thin as we could hear the neighbors conversation/laughing till about midnight. Breakfast was decent. The young man who worked in the breakfast area was very friendly, helpful and hardworking. Room seemed decently clean, for an older hotel. Overall we probably would stay here again if there isn't other options available.

Below average check in. The woman at the check in counter told me the room is on the north side of the building and any stair access is equally far from the room. Both of these things were not accurate and it forced me to walk half a mile with luggage since I didn't know what I was told was wrong. The pillows in the room were tiny cushions with two parrot feathers each inside for cushioning. I had to explain to the check in lady what a normal pillow should look and feel like and that it is not 12 inches wide. The general level of intelligence was not impressive and the attitude of service was even lower. To top it off their Wifi won't work with a VPN on, so I guess the guest is expected to leave their computers etc open to hackers, since the hotel wifi is public with no security to speak of.

Not the worst, but not the best.
Room not clean. Shower was nasty, bathroom floor sticky. Found items left by previous guests. People in the room above us stomped around ALL NIGHT. We could not figure out what was happening? We complained twice. After the 2nd complaint, it was better. Breakfast was MEH. Could offer scrambled eggs or bacon to make it better. Coffee was HORRIBLE.

Not the motels fault but there was a lot of stomping going on from above us and in the hallways. Young adults outside our room window being loud on the phone and them we discovered our window was open. They moved away when we shut the window which helped a lot. Great shower head and the bed was really comfortable. Coffee was superb in the AM. Had good parking for us as we pull our flatbed trailer on hauls. Will stay again but ask for an upper room lol

Went there to pick apples and soak in the hot tub apples were already picked and boxed the hot tub never happened because it was broken and drained looks like they have no interest in fixing the hot tub or there would have been water in it!!!!! PS looks like it has been broken for quite a while in all of our traveling I have never seen a hot tub down for that long. Disappointed in Surestay Hotel are you sure this is a Best Western Hotel?????

I enjoyed my first stay because I had a hardwood floor room. My last visit it had carpet. I don’t like carpet anywhere because it’s impossible to make it clean. Hopefully all the rooms will eventually be hardwood. Other than that, rooms were very, very clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was good too

Outdated, $20 early check-in fee. We were in a room next to the stairs and heard what sounded like elephants coming down the stairs until 11 pm, and then starting again at 4:30 am. The location is good, though, it is safe, the employees were friendly.
