All-Season ski chalet in Ellicottville, NY, outdoor hot tub with stunning views!

Relax by the fire in the serene environment of this rustic country home located on 5 acres of private wooded land boasting breathtaking views of the rolling hills of Cattaraugus County. With over 2,700 square feet of living space this chalet is perfectly located just 7 miles from the center of Ellicottville or 8 miles from the slopes and golf courses at Holiday Valley and Holimont Ski Resorts.

The Chalet was built in 2007 and has five bedrooms plus a loft. It has a large two story Great Room with a wall of windows and open concept floor plan into the kitchen/dining room with plenty of seating. There are 3 full bathrooms and 6 bedrooms, sleeping up to 18 guests. The outdoor deck is an entertainersā€™ dream with over 800 square feet of added living space overlooking the tear drop shaped pond. The bright walkout basement is complete with a pool table, large flat screen TV, built in bar with beer fridge, and games nook. At the end of your busy day, have a soak in the covered outdoor hot tub and enjoy the view!

This chalet can be enjoyed all year round. The area is famous for its winter activities including skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, tubing and snowmobiling. In summer there is golf, tennis, hiking, and challenging mountain biking in the immediate area. Holiday Valley Resort nearby has added a Sky High Adventure Park and 3 outdoor pools with a water slide.

For winter rentals, snow tires and all-wheel or four-wheel drive on your vehicle is highly recommended as there is a steep hill on our street (plowed and sanded regularly). Please note: Friday and Saturday nights must be booked together, thank you.

Amazing!
What a wonderful house! It truly felt like a cabin getaway. The house comfortably accommodated our large group and was well-equipped with the essentials. It was conveniently located just minutes from Holiday Valley tubing and 15 minutes from the ski resort. If you're traveling during the winter, I highly recommend a four-wheel-drive vehicle. The hill leading to the house is quite steep and challenging to navigate without one. They thoughtfully provided shovels in the garage, which was incredibly helpful! I highly recommend this property.

The property wasnā€™t as clean as it should have been. There was a lot of trash left outside. And the inside needed a deep clean. There were a lot of mice that we heard and actually caught one in the kitchen (we released it back outside and have that on video) There wasnā€™t enough toilet paper especially since they requested everyone use septic safe toilet paper. Also, you definitely need 4 wheel drive to get up the road to the house.

Beautiful house perfect for our three generation holiday get-together. The kitchen really does have everything. The hill is well maintained and was no problem for our all wheel drive car but, as the website warns, can be too much for a small front drive car on an icy day.

Great house for a large group
This house is spacious with lots of sleep configurations. Our group of nine adults and a few kids was very comfortable. Kitchen is well -equipped and the knives were decent. Basement rec room was a plus because we had wet weather. Hot tub is nice. Most activities were 15 or 30 minutes away. We would stay here again..

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space and bedrooms. There was a pool table, pac man arcade game, many board games, little kid books, barbies (my little girls loved that!), DVDs and outdoor games as well. The house is 10 minutes from Ellicottville which is a really nice little town- definitely check it out if you're in the area. My only complaint was the temperature in the upstairs bedrooms. It was a little stuffy at times but there are alot of fans there so that helped. The temperature of the main rooms was great. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for a Group Ski Trip
Every year we plan a trip to Ellicottville to get a few days of skiing in. This year we had a mixed group of families with kids ranging from 15 to 6. This house had the perfect set up with lots of sleeping options, common space, and plenty of fun for the kids between the games, PS3, pool table, pac man arcade, and campfire. The hot tub was also nice after skiing all day. This is the second property we have stayed at of the owners. They are absolutely wonderful. Their properties are always clean, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and they are very responsive. This was also our first time staying a little outside of town. We originally thought this might be a slight inconvenience but it's such a quick short ride and with the house being so perfect for our group, it had no effect on our experience. We would definitely stay at this property again!
