The Cardinal is a popular cabin in our resort. Its festive decor will brighten your day. We hope you enjoy your stay! The Cardinal is our only pet friendly cabin.

The Space:
Cardinal Cabin

Cardinal birds mate for life, which perhaps is why they are often viewed as expressing the harmony of life. They also frequently sing togetherā€”one bird trilling several phrases, which the other completes. In spring, the male conducts a courtship feeding, bringing his companion tidbits of food, their bills touching briefly as she accepts each offered morsel.

You and your significant other may also sing together about the Cardinal cabin as a temporary nesting site for two guests. A rocking chair for two invites you to relax on the porch. Inside, you can stretch out on the king-size bed or take advantage of the comfortable seating area.

The chefs among you will appreciate the kitchen area supplied with utensils, cookware, hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig beverage maker. There is also a dining table and chairs where you can offer your loved one tidbits of food.

Need Internet access? Individual Wi-Fi is provided in the cabin. Have a Roku subscription? Stream your favorite content to the TV. A full list of amenities is below.

Conveniently located to local area attractions, the cabin is only 15 minutes from Homestead Heritage Craft Village, Magnolia Silos, and Baylor University, just to name a few.

I loved the serene natural environment. Everything was clean and decorated to match cabin name. The kitchen and bathroom were full of amenities. We needed nothing. I loved all the windows and the porch swing. My little dog was so happy to have a safe place to chase his tennis ball. All good!
