When we reserved this listing,we thought it was a 2 bedroom- it was not. It was only a 1 bedroom. The listing was confusing - it said 1 bedroom but underneath it said 2. We didn't find out it was a 1 bedroom until after the deadline for a refund. There was damage to the rental, the host knew about it but didn't let us know. We couldn't sleep on the sofa- which we thought was a separate sleeping area. I had to ask about parking. I did talk to the host, and he said that because this was my first time using VRBO, I didn't understand how the app worked and therefore couldn't find the information needed to contact him. He also didn't get my messages until a couple of days later, and blamed it on problems with the app. My husband and I were there for his medical procedure, and only stayed at the property for 1 day. We went out to Long Island the rest of the week. The host was unwilling to give us a partial or full refund. Whenever the host tried to contact me, he never left a message. Not the best experience for us. If possible we would.like some or all of our money back.
