Very good chef, beautiful bay, nice snorkelling and paddle boarding, the included breakfast was terrible, very limited and no proper coffee unless you want to pay astronomical prices. Was very expensive for example a packet of chips cost AUD 7.25. Meals AUD167 for 2

Coco Beach resort is a small, quiet and local property. It’s out of town which is great if you are after a quiet experience, and you can snorkel the reef in front of the property. Negatives are the road from town (holes and potholes). The cost of food at the restaurant is also pretty high. If you have expectations of an international chain style accommodation, you will be disappointed. However it is a lovely, basic resort which is warm and welcoming. The staff is very helpful - from arranging transfers to town / assisting with tour bookings / providing advice / assisting to resolve problems. Only other tip is that the reception is the bar on the beach, not at the entry of the property.

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating. The food was very high quality - I particularly loved the eye fillet. Just such a wonderful experience!
