Excellent last minute getaway. One night is not enough to enjoy the amenities. Only two complaints- nothing opened after 10 and no vending machines. Be prepared but a store about 2 miles away.

Older property. Splash pad flooring needs to be replaced. The restaurant was warm on a hot summer day, had a weird smell and was understaffed. Property is outdated but room was clean.

Gabby the front desk clerk has a bad attitude and very condescending perhaps she needs a customer service refresher class. Aside from her attitude the overall property was very clean and relaxing. My family and I visit often and will be back, hopefully by then Gabby has been reminded of what customer service means.

We absolutely loved staying here. We will make this our annual vacation spot!! My family has an absolute easy & relaxing stay at The Welk Resort. About 20-30 min from shops & activities.

When we arrived and got our room keys they didn’t work and i had to drive back down to the lobby to retrieve new key cards. The kitchen was full of gnats. Housekeeping might of left a window open idk. Our master bathroom had no shampoo or body wash. Containers were empty. We were greeted with 4 pillows on the kitchen table with no pillow covers, so they were probably left behind from the previous guest that slept on the pull out couch. Overall i don’t think i would recommend or visit again.

Do not touch this hotel!!
The hotel cancelled our reservation as they tried to charge an incorrect out of date credit card leaving our 5 person family with nowhere to stay. The hotel did email us to say the payment method had failed and that we had 24 hours to contact them with a new card. We called within 2.5 hours but the duty manager basically told us “bad luck” he had cancelled. To reiterate our payment did not fail, the hotel charged the wrong card not the using the updated one saved on hotels.com. We will be making a formal complaint to Hilton as we have never ever received such appalling service!
