Our stay at METT in Marbella was lovely. We had deluxe pool/sea facing rooms which were very spacious, and complete with very good amenities. We especially liked that housekeeping replenished our room with water bottles every day.
The concierge communicated with us through WhatsApp and if we needed anything, we just had to ask through the app which was lovely.
The staff was very accommodating and kind.
Be prepared to need a car or to need Uber/Taxis. It is not a very walkable area (about 30 minutes from old town / 20 from Puerto Banus).
The beach was lovely! Bring water shoes if you plan on going into the ocean, as there are many rocks (but this is to be expected in Europe!)
We also enjoyed the pool area, which was always very clean and well kept.
I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We were offered an upgrade at a cost ! Hard sell by the ‘welcome person’ We explained we have vip access. Although rooms were available we were not offered an upgrade other than a paid for upgrade. Also they tried to charge for valet parking. We did get that removed from the bill.

On arriving the immediate warmth of the welcome from the staff was infectious. They were so helpful and attentive. The place is so clean and tidy. Both restaurants are of a good standard plenty of choice for both Breakfast and Dining on an evening. The Pool and Beach bars are very good for Lunch and Drinks. The beds both around the pool and on the beach are very comfortable. On the downside their are a few things around the pool that can be improved. The first is the music. It is more suited to a much younger clientele. We did voice this and to be fair to the Hotel they addressed the situation for the last few days. Their is also an area where you have to reserve the beds at an extra charge. We found that Non Residents were coming in especially on a weekend and taking over those particular areas. I did suggest to the hotel to consider relocating these beds also where you lay around the pool you do not get the sunshine for the whole day. We found the beach to be the perfect location where the bar and beds are less than two minutes from the pool area and much more peaceful.
