The bed in the Lord Alfred suite was fantastic, the pillows, too! The breakfasts were a bit disappointing, as far as taste. The front room with the fireplace was ice cold, and my husband had some trouble staying warm. But we loved the property and location!

Perfect Getaway
Came to the mountains on motorcycles. Couldnā€™t have found a more comfortable, relaxing place than Cliff Cottages. I had a suite, both rooms and the bath (jacuzzi tub) were spacious and comfortable. The king bed was luxurious to me. After riding all day, it was a welcome reprieve! The breakfast delivered daily to our door was a first for me , but loved it! Would prefer it to having to dress and gathering at a table with strangers. Location was the best! A trip down the stairs and youā€™re in town, everything is walking distance but I would suggest driving if going to Emilioā€™s for dinner. The furnishings and atmosphere were perfect, like stepping back in time.

Likes: - Unique spot - revamped older home. The room was done well. - Good breakfast - Comfortable bed! - Close to downtown - ability to walk to a number of spots. "Wish it was different": - No bathroom privacy. The bathroom was open to the bedroom - a curtain or something like a pocket door would have helped that. - We normally at B&Bs love to eat in a dining area where we can visit and get to know other people staying at the inn. The food being delivered to our room didn't allow that. Not eating in a dining room didn't allow us to have fresh-brewed coffee in the morning. Instant coffee was available in our room, but that was a bit disappointing. Not sure if delivering to the rooms was started during Covid, but we are past Covid now and it doesn't hurt having people eat together. We'd give the property 4 stars out of 5. Based on other B&Bs we've stayed at, this property was good, but not as nice as other spots.

Wonderful little cottage.
This cottage was cozy and clean. Everything as it was described and within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The breakfast was wonderful and so was the complimentary bottle of wine
