Not recommended
First room was not cleaned. Fridge had old food init and it stunk bad. Second room was ok but overall cleaning staff needs to be trained better. Front desk personnel were wonderful changed iur room and were accommodating. Security in our room was nad as it would not securly close

Hotels.com took my prepaid room pmt And didn’t pay
Hotels.com took my prepaid room money and did not pay the hotel. Therefore, I lost over $105 because Hotels.com did not release the money to the Quality Inn in Evanston, WY. We did not get a room. We were on a trip to have a follow up for a heart valve replacement surgery and we’re unable to have our room given to us even though I have Credit card payment documentation that I paid Hotels.com for the room and Hotels.com was to pay the hotel prior to my arrival. I also tried to contact Hotels.com via their contact information and was unable to get any one to assist us. I will not use Hotels.com again because they scammed me out of money. If anyone uses Hotels.com, be very leery if you do a prepaid room because you may not get it.

Nightmare
When accessing the building, the security access cards were disabled. The room was not very clean, it did not look like it had not been vacuumed in a week. There was no hair dryer and when I asked the front desk they said they did not have any but the description clearly states that hair dryers were provided. When trying to shower, there was no hot water at all. It wasn't like it ran out. The water was very cold. The front desk indicated that the whole building was out of hot water and there was nothing they could do about it.

No elevator - hubby just had surgery, and I had to carry several bags, plus a cooler up a circular staircase that did not appear very safe. I am 73, and my shoulders are not in great shape - scheduled for surgery next month. I could see someone (little kid?) slipping and getting a keg or arm caught between the stair steps, all the windows are dirty, the shower head is sticking out of a big hole in the wall. The bathroom was not very clean. Just not very hospitable. I’m going back to Holiday inn express! A clean room would be worth the extra $60. I never ever write bad reviews but this place is a dump.

We had a great clean room on second floor, no elevator the exterior is nice but so many other things are crumbling away outside like stairs. Obviously it wasn’t a 5 star but a nice staff it just needs some work on the exterior. I know staffing is a problem but you need more people. And someone to walk over the whole place and improve it.

Pet friendly means stinks like Pee
The hotel itelf is clean even its dated. The problem i had was i got a pet friendly room that absolutely reeked of animal pee!! It was room 217. I get tyat it may have pet hair but come on.

The bedding looked as though it had been used before. There was a blood stain in the bathtub. The bed was comfortable but I was awaken at 5 AM to someone running around on the floor above. The lady at the front desk was very nice and welcoming. She was the one really nice thing about the stay.
