Lovely lodge
One night stay with the family. The lodge was excellent, it’s huge, warm and welcoming. 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms and excellent living space & amenities. Highly recommend and will return.

Dated, but good for late mornings in bed.
The hotel is worn, in need of renovation... Spa facilities were above average (sauna, stam room, hot tubs, winning pool), but again worn. Gym. WiFi is good. Breakfast finishes at 10. Service is decent. Limited selection on menu and at bar ... Special things like baby Guinness are not possible. Area is lovely but remote... Exeter is 30 mins and taxis are sparse.

Had an interior room which was dated , had to have blinds down at all times due to coridor in hotel that was overlooking room. Did use sauna and steam room which were fine ,changing room itself small and was very hot and humid .

Wonderful stay
I arrived late to a very chirpy chap at reception which was lovely. Directed to my room which was a lovely size with all creature comforts. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was also a pleasant experience. The food was of excellent quality. Checking out was easy. I would definately stay here again
