Good stay
Teeny tiny room was challenging to navigate with two people. Rooms are clearly being upgraded, we did not get an upgraded room. Staff were helpful, breakfast was good. I personally didn't love that dogs were there but that's a preference. Also a note that some people love there longer term.

Value for money, clean and tidy I guess but past its best. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Plumbing dated - I would have thought a thermostatic shower control would be an essential safety provision to avoid risk of scalding.

The staff at the Ashton court hotel were very friendly and helpful but The room was dated dusty and dirty especially the bathroom! Impossible to have a shower as the water was either scalding hot or freezing cold, the breakfast was good value for money!

All staff very friendly. Easy checking in/ out. Lovely bar and downstairs restaurant- great decor. Had a twin bedded room - spacious with tea/coffee facilities. All linen and towels lovely with personal mini soaps. Will need to bring own shampoo/ shower gel if needed. Slightly older decor in the bedroom but it was perfect for a night away when visit the Pavillion for a show. Breakfast served up to 10am by young staff and the cooked food was quick to come out and plenty of it. Would stay again as it’s near to everything and especially the beach. There is a private garden across the road with wonderful views with new wooden tables with benches. This will be a great place with a drink to view the sun setting. Great value with breakfast included.

Staff were great and friendly. Welcome was good. No car parking available so parked in next street. Room on level 3 - floor was on a slope and curtains so long it was a tripping hazard. Very small room and two people unable to move around the room comfortably. Milk was out of date which was replenished with new milk and again out of date milk. Couldn’t sit up in bed as wall lights overhead were too low. Couldn’t pull chair out as no room. Window had been repaired but not painted. Overall was not very impressed with room. The photos on website did not reflect on the room we had. On a plus, the breakfast was great.

Excellent value for a winter weekend break
We had an amazing view of the sea and the sunsets from our window. The room was small but had everything you need for a weekend away. Tea, coffee, kettle, TV and free WiFi in our room and a lovely full English breakfast included in the price. Our stay was 3 nights end of Feb 29th - 3rd March. All the staff we spoke to were lovely and helpful. The only downside was the temperamental shower that was very hard to adjust, either too hot or too cold and changed mid shower so it was a bit of challenge. There was also a lift to all floors if needed. Parking although free was on a first come first serve basis so you couldn’t guarantee a space outside, we were never far but it was low season so probably not so busy. We would happily stay again and had a great weekend.

Our room was dirty and musty (smelt like an old peoples home) and very dated. The breakfast area and bar were newly renovated and very nice. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of it, we had a drink in the bar in the evening which was average pricing and plenty of seating. Overall the hotel when fully renovated will be lovely.

Emilie and Alexis were very polite at breakfast. The food was served promptly, hot and a good standard and presentation. My room was a seafront facing single, and although in need of some repair and decoration (and heat) was assured by the owner that as the hotel had only been recently purchased, this was all an ongoing project. Spoke, a restaurant in the town owned by his son, was outstanding, and if that's the plan for Ashton Ct, I will definitely be back again. Thank you Paul for your hospitality.
