An amazing property. Sauna, two big jacuzzi, nice bar and restaurant, incredible service, and the rooms are beautiful. Not even a small thing to complain. I would book this hotel again without even thinking about it

Awful. Worst stay of the trip! Avoid.
This was the worst stay of our trip by far! It relies on its location. The room we received was terrible. The light did not work, the TV did not work, the phone to reception did not work. I think you get the idea. We had a family room, the single bed was comfortable, however the double bed had about 6 inches less cushion on the mattress. It was creaky, lumpy and uncomfortable, not what you expect for a room costing well over £300 per night! The belts on the included bath robes was frayed to the point where my wife thought it may have been attacked by rats. The hot tub/sauna at the hotel was good, but the tiles were super slippery! Not sure how someone thought that the tile choice was good for the floor in a busy area with water, but again these same tiles are used in the bathroom, which again was slippy. Breakfast (costs extra) was a saving grace. It was very good. I am unsure how this place gets so many great reviews? Externally, it is stunning, but the room left an awful lot to be desired for the price! Over £300 and they couldn’t check the light or make sure all beds had the newer, more comfortable mattresses. It was the hotel we were looking forward to most and the one that left us most disappointed. I would never stay here again and unless you are here on a bus tour, etc. I would never recommend anyone else do so either!
The difference in mattress quality was unforgivable for the price!
The gap down one side of the double bed. Impossible to walk down. Over £300 for this is a disgrace!

It was located close to Glacier Lagoon so it was easy to drive there from the hotel. Also the hotel staff were very helpful booking tickets for a puffin tour which was also about a five minute drive from the hotel. The restaurant had an excellent menu also.

Staff was very helpful. Had to make a local call for one of our tours and couldn't understand the automated answer I got. They helped me through that. great food, beautiful facilities. Wish we could have stayed longer. Traveling the Ring Road and only stayed one day at each location. This was one of our favorites!

This property is convenient to travel along the southern points of Iceland, as we did. It is close enough to Vik and Diamond Beach/Glacier Lagoon and makes for a good option along these routes. The property was beautiful and had the best black out shades of any place we stayed at. Staff was very friendly and helpful and we used all the ammenities to include buffet breakfast, hot tub, and sauna. We also enjoyed dinner there, which was delicious.
