Amazing property next to a river. Great staff and service. A bummer that theyre in the flight path of planes taking off from the airport but the cotages are quiet, safe, clean and private.

The hotel room we received was infested with bed bugs. My wife got severe bed bugs bites all over her body. We have never had such an experience at any hotel in the past. And bed bugs wasn't the only problem in our room. Our bathroom was filled with bees (10 bees) all throughout our stay. Although we didn't get a bee bite, that could have been very dangerous for us. We have detailed images about both of our issues but it seems like we cannot attach images to Expedia reviews these days?

We wer 2 couples traveling together so they gave us a river side cottage with 2 rooms. Staff was great. Shuttle from train station and paid taxi to airport because it was early in the morning. Ate dinner at the Alaskan Grill and it was very good. They are open until 10pm which is nice since the train arrived at 8pm. Wake up call to view the aurora.

Only stayed one night prior to our cruise/tour began the following day. We arrived around midnight to check in. The desk gal didnā€™t think we could carry our luggage upstairs so she switched our room ? We were in a cottage now- it was difficult to find it in the dark but we finally did. We were supposed to have a king size bed but got 2 doubles. The bed was comfortable but the room needs updating. The breakfast seemed overpriced. Overall it was OK.
