This unique place will be the starting point to discover the flora and fauna of this region of Africa in this quiet and welcoming village. Possibility of short stay (1 night). The house is totally autonomous in electricity (solar panels) and water (2.000L tank). Anna can prepare for you typical Senegalese dishes and will give you good tips to visit the region (dugout canoe, hyenas observation in the evening in the bush, fishing trip in the sea,...). Amazing!
We have lived in Senegal for more than a year and the trip to Palmerin was most memorable. The villa is AMAZING and just as pictured. You truly get a feel for being in Senegal while staying in this beautiful place. Pierre (the owner) is very professional and his home staff who will meet you (Anna and Rene) are wonderful. Anna makes wonderful food and Rene (the highlight of the trip) will be able to offer you some amazing adventures! We took the Pirogue trip through the Mangroves and saw beautiful birds, mangroves, and also took a tour through a village. We also went hyena spotting and YES it really was such. We saw 3 hyenas and was the highlight of the children's trip. It was especially nice to take the daily excursions and then come back to the villa and jump in the nice clean, fantastic pool! You can also walk down to the beach which is a few steps behind the house. All of the people of the village are so kind and welcoming, you feel as though you are part of the village yourself! It is quiet and safe. The ONLY downside was that the house does not have air conditioning and it got very, very hot at night despite having ceiling fans in the room (it is also the hottest season in Senegal - Oct right now). Thank you Pierre for helping us create some wonderful family memories!

Tres belle villa
Cette villa est trĆØs bien construite juate en face de la mer. Les chambres en baies vitrĆ©es donne direct sur la mer. On dors avec la brise de mer qui vient jusquā€™Ć  nous. Le sĆ©jour sā€™est trĆØs bien passĆ© et les habitants du village sont trĆØs gentil. Je recommande vivement!

Great house, perfect for relaxing with friends
The house is fantastic, with ample space for 6+ adults and a beautiful out door area and pool. We enjoyed ourselves at the pool and in the house. The Kitchen is well set-up. Anna, the femme de menage was very helpful and provided assistance when we had some questions.

Les personnes chargĆ©es de l'entretien sont toujours disponibles pour satisfaire nos demandes de prĆ©paration de repas, lessive, visites exceptionnelles dans le village. Le propriĆ©taire est de trĆØs bon conseil pour prĆ©parer au mieux le voyage. Quel bonheur de sortir directement de la maison en maillot de bain pour prendre un bain dans l'ocĆ©an, de profiter du ciel Ć©toilĆ© depuis la terrasse supĆ©rieure, de prendre un verre assis sur les siĆØges et la table fixĆ©e dans la piscine, d'ĆŖtre entourĆ© de voisins sympathiques et accueillants, d'ĆŖtre Ć  proximitĆ© d'un petit commerce d'Ć©picerie, du marchĆ©, de restaurants frĆ©quentĆ©s par les gens du village. Le village bien situĆ© permet de nombreuses visites trĆØs intĆ©ressantes dans les environs et de belles ballades en charrette dans la savane au bord de la mangrove. Nous avons beaucoup apprĆ©ciĆ© les contacts chaleureux et trĆØs riches avec les villageois. Un soir depuis la terrasse nous entendions des chants et le tamtam nous sommes allĆ©s dans le village et avons assistĆ© Ć  un mariage, les invitĆ©s nous ont conviĆ©s Ć  danser avec eux. C'Ć©tait magique.

Nous avons choisi cette maison et ce lieu pour un sĆ©jour extrĆŖmement reposant, calme, simple, ensoleillĆ©, sans autres bruits que les vagues de l'ocĆ©an et les chants d'oiseaux ... la maison est spacieuse, confortable, lumineuse et bien Ć©quipĆ©e. Elle est en lisiĆØre d'un village de pĆŖcheurs d'un autre Ć¢ge sans voiture, moto, les rencontres avec l'accueil des habitants est agrĆ©able tout en restant discret. TrĆØs longue plage magnifique, piscine parfaite, poisson frais Ć  portĆ©e de main ... un lieu de ressourcement pour qui aime le calme et l'Ć©loignement de la vie trĆ©pidante !

Nous avons passĆ© deux nuits dans la villa. La route jusqu'Ć  Palmarin n'est pas Ć©vidente Ć  cause des travaux et nous avons dĆ»t emprunter beaucoup de piste sableuses. Grace Ć  Google map et la vue satellite (seule maison avec une piscine), nous avons trĆØs facilement trouvĆ© la maison. Anna et RenĆ© nous ont trĆØs bien accueilli et orientĆ©s durant notre sĆ©jour. La maison est trĆØs bien conƧue, la piscine impeccable, le tout trĆØs agrĆ©able. Bref un excellent sĆ©jour... Trop court !
