Nice staff, overall good experience
Overall, a good experience. This Riad seemed like a less popular one for some reason, but my girlfriend and I took a chance and booked it. The older hostess lady (and two younger men?) were very nice. The room was very spacious. AC worked.
It was a positive experience, although compared to some of the other Riads, I felt some things were less "polished" or welcoming. For example, no tea, water, or snacks were offered on arrival or in the room. The appliances and decor could have used some updating; they were neither very "Moroccan" in look nor very modern. The bathroom was plain but functional. In the stairwell (no elevator), plentiful black luggage marks marred the walls. The room was supposed to be a "king" bed, but appeared to be two twin beds pushed together.
Complimentary breakfast was simple and nice and about on par with the others we've experienced at other Riads.
The Riad was large with 13-14 rooms and only a few were booked our night. Perhaps, they overextended themselves, and it would be difficult to renovate so many rooms. Walking around, it was like exploring a large deserted mansion. There was a nice rooftop with an excellent view (the Riad is high up on a hill), which we spent some time on in the evening. No wine or hookah was available for purchase.
Overall it was a positive experience, however for the same price perhaps you could get something with a little more polish and refinement
