The space
This special historic home on Main St. It is the oldest brick building left in the city. It was built by Parlee Carlin in 1834 to house his wife and nine children. Mr. Carlin was an early settler and a merchant.
The striking 1886 Hancock County Courthouse is fully visible from the flat’s original eight-foot living room windows. In addition, the renowned Marathon Center for the Performing Arts and the library are just around the corner. The University of Findlay lies a short one mile to the north on Main Street.
Lovers of fine wood are in for a treat. The flat retains its rare, museum quality Heart Pine floors. They have been restored and glow as beautifully as they did when installed in 1834. The owner is proud of this property and easily accessible. We hope you enjoy this glimpse into early 19th century living quarters.
Guest access
You have a private entrance off of South Main St. And can enjoy the entire second floor of this beautiful 2 bedroom flat.
