Ok, so the mighty Crown Creek is not a river but the power of the rapids cascading through this property truly is mesmerizing. This 10.5 acre property consists of a one bedroom and one bathroom log cabin over-looking the Crown Creek. Trout fishing in both the Crown Creek and the adjoining Baptism River is excellent. The log cabin was just COMPLETELY renovated and everything in it is brand new. Quartz counter-tops and a copper sink highlight the new kitchen. Please view the YouTube link for more. Snowmobile and ATV trails are accessible right from the property with no need to trailer. End your night with a bonfire and smores overlooking Crown Creek in your own private setting.

Great Get-A-Way!
The cabin was great, the flowing creek sounds were peaceful and powerful all at the same time. Off the beaten path, but easy access to amenities and adventure. When we come back, this will be a great place to stay again! Thank you to the host for excellent communication and follow up. Would highly recommend to anyone else looking at booking this place!

It was amazing to listen to the river all day and night and drink coffee in the morning basking in the sun and nature. There were no neighbors around and everything was extremely peaceful. I can see myself rebooking the cabin every year as a peaceful retreat to recharge. We visited the Finnish festival and went fishing and canoeing. We enjoyed being so isolated but also so close to Lake Superior. The cabin was very clean and ready to go. There were very clear instructions on how to work everything and check out expectations. I appreciated it.

Perfect secluded getaway!
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. When we crossed the bridge over Crown Creek we knew we were definitely off the beaten path. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The WiFi was a nice surprise, but it only worked the first evening. But that’s ok, we were there to unplug. I would highly recommend to friends and family who want a quiet and secluded getaway, yet still close enough to the busier areas along highway 61.

Flash Flood
Our stay was cancelled as a flash flood had washed out the road & bridge making the property inaccessible. The host reached out immediately to inform us as we were on the road travelling to the property. Dave was extremely apologetic and offered to help us find another rental but was not optimistic as weather was poor and the activity we were coming for was booked out months in advance. We chose to accept the cancellation and refund and will try again another year.

Wonderful property. Clean and secluded. The river was raging due to recent rains so I didn’t try any fishing. Maybe next time. =) We love the area with all the great trails and nearby attractions.

Great location and cabin!
Location of property was stunning and the cabin was very cozy and even more beautiful than the pictures shown. It had everything you need and easy to settle in for a couple of days. The area around property was beautiful and we found many things to do and explore. We would love to come back in the summer/early fall to see what the area is like without all the snow!

The cabin was delightful! Exactly as we expected! Clean, well set up, all the amenities we could ask for. Directions were perfect, and getting in was easy peasy!
