Set under the Preseli Hills, Y Bwthyn is a beautifully converted old stone and slate-roofed barn situated well off the road in a tranquil countryside setting. Numerous tiny windows frame glimpses of the 6-acre garden in which it is set – a garden which is so lovely it has been featured in magazines and on television. Inside, there is a wood burning stove and a counter-weighted stair to access the sleeping loft, and the cottage is filled with books and paintings. There isn’t a television so you can enjoy a few days being blissfully disconnected from the stresses and strains of the rest of the world. All around you wildlife, historic monuments, standing stones and cliff-top walks abound.
National Geographic has named Pembrokeshire the second best coastline in the world and it is not hard to see why. Quiet and comfortable, this cottage is nothing short of idyllic.
Bed linen and bath towels are NOT included - we kindly request that you bring your own sheets (suitable for a king-size bed), bath towels & beach towels.
Hand towels, showers mats & tea towels are provided.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome; there is a charge of £10 per dog per stay and a maximum of 2 dogs.
The cottage is NOT suitable for toddlers due to the steep, open-tread stairs and woodburning stove.
Electricity and unlimited logs for the wood burner are included all year round.
