The Bohus hiking trail is a 340-kilometre hiking route through Bohuslän near the border with Dalsland in western Sweden and is divided into 27 stages, each 6-22 km long. Here you will experience vast forests, hilly valleys and secluded lakes. If you are looking for real primeval forest, the stages through Svartedalen are recommended. Don't miss Älgafallet, Bohuslän's highest waterfall with a drop of 46 metres! The hiking route is ideal for those who like to sleep in a tent or shelter. One of the most spectacular hiking routes is Kuststigen, Sweden's answer to the cinque terre. There is a lot to experience here and the contrasts are impressive: from deciduous forests and rock carvings to harbours, boathouses and breathtaking views of the sea.
