Fantastic : clean, safe and convenient B&B directly opposite Santa Maria train station. Easy walking to all that Florence has to offer. Staff were very friendly and helpful with local suggestions on what to see and where to eat.

Excellent location across the street from the Santa Maria Novella train station. So you don't have to drag your bags all through the streets of Florence! We had stayed here two years ago and enjoyed it, so we opted to stay again. Despite arriving early, our rooms were all ready for us, so we were able to check in, drop off our bags and set out to see Florence. Had an issue with odor in one room, but staff quickly helped to resolve the issue for us. Beds were quite firm, so if you prefer a softer bed, may be a down side for you.

Very solid for what it is which is a mid tier hotel right by the train station. If that’s what you need and aren’t looking for luxury this could work well. Room was a decent size, queen bed, very clean. Entry is on a corner of a busy intersection. There was some street noise from a McDonalds below late in the evening but it mellowed out around midnight and the windows and room darkening shades helped anyway. Lobby is up two flights of stairs in case you don’t like elevators and carrying your bags up stairs. Location is literally across the street from Florence train station and only a few blocks from the start of the touristy areas. Therefore the location worked well for our one night stopover.

We were welcomed with a smile and it only got better from there. The location is great, so close to the station but with shutters to keep out the noise at night, the rooms are so beautiful and cleaned daily. Our favourite stay on our trip so far.

Love the proximity to the train station and the size and space of the apartment. Unfortunately the hot and cold water was a bit chaotic in the shower every day with the pressure and temperature changing throughout and almost scalding at one point. The pillows and mattress were a bit standard/hard but am grateful for the lovely staff.
