Right next to the central station. Very friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast. Walkable (10-12 min to Academia Gallery, 10-12 min to the Duomo, and 16 min to Uffizi).

It was incredibly hot when we were in Florence so the efficient (and quiet) air conditioning was great. The room was spacious and clean with a balcony overlooking a courtyard. It was very close to the main tourists sights but also close to the train and bus stations for excursions. Being close to the station there were some undesirable aspects but I never felt unsafe. The receptionist Kathlyn was very helpful and friendly. We had a buffet breakfast every day and felt it was reasonable value, especially as I was able to have vegan options which are not always easy to find.

Room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and very clean! Wish all our hotels in Italy were this nice. The staff was very helpful, especially going above and beyond to find out our train was cancelled due to a strike on Trenitalia! Side note — tourists, beware of strikes on Sundays. Our trip to Pisa was cancelled as was our return to Rome. Might want to have a plan B. The staff, particularly Anna, helped to identify our problem with transportation, which allowed us to quickly figure out a Plan B for our return to Rome. She also offered up that the hotel did have one room available should our Plan B fail. Great place for sure. Would definitely recommend.

The property was very clean and nice. With the double door entry, we felt very safe inside. The lobby was very small though. The B and B is still under renovation so it feels like the place is not ready for business yet. The elevator is really old and very small. It was good that we only need to walk up one level to our room. The staff was very nice to change one of our room to separate twin beds which was what we requested at the beginning, but they emailed us that the twin beds weren't available a few days before our arrival. We were ok with it, but was happy they had one available so my grown boys can get their own bed. We had reservation for two rooms.

The checkin process was made easy by John the front desk manager. The room is very nice and comfortable with all the amenities. The location to the train station makes it very easy for those traveling with luggage.

Don’t stay here. The lady at the front is nice but nice doesn’t mean anything. The hotel is located in a bad part of Florence. Homeless drunk people sprawled on the sidewalk just outside the hotel a few steps and trash all along the street. Right away this knocks it down to 3 stars. If I owned this place, I would spend an hour a day to clean up the trash outside on the street, would go a long way to keeping customers. There was no iron when we really needed it to attend a mass service and they could have gotten one from their sister hotel located 3 minutes away but were too lazy. Also they close around 730pm so if you need anything you are screwed. Also they don’t open until 730am. Had no coffee in the room they give only a couple terrible instant coffee packets, had to walk at 630am to sister hotel to get some, they should have restocked me or kept some basics on my floor like my hotel in Rome did. For $300 a night I expect a lot more. This is not a boutique hotel like they say or claim to be. My TV didn’t work and there were no instructions. Also no one to help me after hours again. When I tried to do online check in, wasted 20 minutes and it didn’t work and they got more personal data of mine that they didn’t need and not on my passport like City of birth, which no hotel in Europe asks for except this one. When complaining the website didn’t work properly the lady at the front didn’t say she would look into it or feel bad. Not coming back
