Small, dark rooms
The room was very, very small and dark. The layout of the room made no sense. The small hall where you walked in had doors but you open to a light and nothing else. Not a closet. The small closet was next to the bed and any movement would cause the light to go on. The shower did not allow you to adjust the water temperature. The balcony was much smaller than the pucture portrayed.

This was the best hotel we stayed at during our Italy trip! Everything from check in to check out was fantastic. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area - they provided a very detailed, lengthy list of recommended restaurants and even called to make reservations for us! We were surprised with an upgraded room with a river view and it could not have been any nicer. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
