The hotel is ideally located just 2 minutes walk from the Duomo. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed and cared for. All the staff were friendly and helpful. You were always greeted with a smile. The rooms were as seen on line. The beds were comfortable with beautiful linen. Whilst so central our room was super quiet at night. The breakfast each morning was delicious with a good array of food to choose from. We would certainly stay again and recommend this hotel to others. Note - we were a couple travelling with our teenage daughter and we had plenty of space in our room.

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in a long time. The staff is courteous, friendly and very helpful. Special mention to the owner and Laura who made us feel welcomed. The hotel room was clean and tidy. The hotel is conveniently located i.e close to the SMN Train station and all the magnificent structures in Florence. It is in the safe place and at a walkable distance from all the best restaurants and attractions around the area. Highly recommend this hotel for families!

The room was clean but rather shabby. Shower fixture for shower head/handheld was broken; there is a key used to turn electricity on and off, and it was extremely tricky to adjust it just right. Climate control didn’t seem to be working at all; luckily it wasn’t really needed. Hot water out of sink faucet was spotty. A screw point protruding from doorway into office snagged and tore my coat when I brushed against it, but I wasn’t offered repair or recompense. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and English-fluent.

Pleasantly surprised
At first you will think this was the wrong hotel to choose. But when you are attended by their staff and you get a feel for the hotel you will realize how perfect this little hotel is. You are within a five or ten min. Walk from everywhere you want to go. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend.

I stayed at Il Perseo for 5 nights with my sister and my nieces over Thanksgiving. We could not have been happier with the location, the staff, and the accommodations! It is a very easy 5 minute walk to the stop for the tram to the airport or the entry to the train station. It is a half a block from Il Duomo! The staff are well trained, multi-lingual, and always available. The initial entry was even easier than I had anticipated and we felt safe with the coded gate entrance process for the rest of our stay. We had two people in each of two rooms, which gave us plenty of space. Bathrooms were clean, and water was warm - or as hot as you like. We used the dining area downstairs when we wanted to play games as a family. My only suggestion for other travelers is to bring allergy medicine. While the hotel itself is clean, there is a central elevator for the building with a metal grid surrounding it that does not appear to have ever been cleaned. One of my nieces had dust allergy issues whenever we were there. Overall, I would happily stay here again!

The hotel was in a good location. We walked everywhere. The staff was extremely helpful and helped us book trains to our destinations. They also had breakfast included! When we needed a taxi, they called for us. They took care of us and made our stay a wonderful experience.

Awesome little Boutique Hotel
A very cute family run Hotel. The daytime desk attendant turned out to be the Owner/Manager of the hotel. She was extremely friendly and helpful in answering all of our questions. The room was spotless and had everything that we needed. The fridge had some complimentary bottles of water in it as well. There was also a pretty good free breakfast included with the stay. The hotel is a short walk from the train station and approximately 200m from the Duomo. You can walk leisurely to most of the sights in the core area from here. It was a wonderful little hotel in an awesome location. Highly recommend staying there.

Great Stay
I was made to feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was a cold buffet, ham, cheese, yogurts, etc. The hotel is centrally located, only a few minutes from the Cathedral, and close to all the major attractions. All in all, it was a great stay.

Hotel Perseo is a very lovely little hotel located walking distance from nearly all of the hot spots. The difference of this hotel is the very lovely staff, Laura and the others. They always made us feel welcomed and did a few kind things for us to make our trip memorable! Just two note: You will hear the church bell at 7, which is anywhere you go. 2nd: you have to hand in your keys when you leave and pick them up when you come in. It's not a major deal, but just know how it works

An inexpensive solid stay. A little rough and ready but great stay, greay food, great service. Rooms could do with a small make over but over all. If your looking for a stay that doesnt break the bank and is right in the heart of the city. Excellent stay!
