The host was very lovely when we arrived, very welcoming and gave us a complimentary upgrade and bottle of wine as we were celebrating our honeymoon. Our issues with the stay were a mosquito infestation in our room, the walls had squashed bugs on them so it was apparent this was already an issue. We made the host aware and they did not seem concerned, and advised us just to use the wall plug ins to stop the bugs. The other issue was just the overall cleanliness of the room. The floors were dirty and many dust bunny’s present. Otherwise, this unit was massive and quite central!

We had a fabulous stay. Palazzo Branchi is a lovely family run, beautiful hotel in the heart of Florence. The apartments are stylishly decorated, immaculately clean and well appointed. You will have a great stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE… we arrived and the room was 100 degrees they said it would cool down. 2 hours later no AC and leaking water. We had to leave and check into another hotel. The lady who owns it said they would refund my payment. Now she avoids my calls and won’t answer on WhatsApp. I highly suggest you find a different hotel terrible experience

Great local, clean, spacious and great AC
The location is great a few blocks from the Duomo. It was clean, spacious ( we had the family suite) and the A/C worked great! The only issue is that there is no front desk to assist you with plans or to call a cab if u need that, Uber worked great in Florence, the cabs are tricky and u can’t flag one down. If u are a family in need of multiple rooms i would definitely recommend!

Do not recommend it if you are traveling with a family with small kids, they advertise that you get the whole apartment but after cooking breakfast the owner came to tell us that we weren’t allowed to use the kitchen, nowhere it says that you can’t cook and they have it stocked with pots and pan. Bathrooms are in need of an update.There was a leak from the ceiling in one of our rooms supposedly from the a/c. No elevators.

We loved our apartment and the owners were very helpful during our stay. The owner arranged our taxi service to the train station during our stay and our apartment was cleaned daily along with fresh towels dsily.

Salvatore was fantastic. We arrived very late for our stay and he helped us out. The room was very nice for our quick stay over. Stairs to room could be an issue for some but Salvatore did offer to carry one of our suitcases which was a nice gesture.
